Truck with loading device. The present invention relates to a truck with a loading device. Its aim is to eliminate as much as possible the labor force for loading, for example, crates, barrels, balots and also in cases where it concerns the loading of materials without packaging, such as gravel or gravel. coal.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 is a partial elevational view of the truck; Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof. FIGS. 3 to 6 show, partially on a larger scale, details.
In the drawing, 1 designates the truck apron and 2 the driver's cabin. Above the apron, on either side of it, are arranged two parallel slides 3, each of which consists of two rails 4. These two slides are supported by uprights 5 fixed to the frame of the truck. The slides extend over the entire length of the apron 1 and are inclined towards the rear part of the apron. One of their ends rests on the cabin 2, while the other which is folded perpendicular to the apron ends at a small distance from the ground. In the slides can move a bucket, comprising a carriage 6 (fig. 1 and 5) provided with rollers 7 on which the carriage can roll in the slides.
The bottom 8 of the bucket which is fitted with a steel perforator comb 9 to facilitate drilling of material without packaging is connected to the side walls 10 by means of removable bolts i1 (fig. 2 and 4) engaging in the eyes 12, 13 respectively of the side walls respectively of the bottom 8. The side walls and the bottom of the bucket are articulated to the rear wall 14 of the bucket by means of rings 15 (FIG. 6) acting as hinges, but having the advantage of resisting violent shocks better. The wall 14 is articulated to the carriage 6 by eyes 16 (FIG. 5) and hand held in the position relative to the carriage shown in FIGS. 1 and 5 by two spring-loaded pawls. 17 (fig. 3 and 5) arranged on the carriage 6.
To the latter is attached a cable 18 guided by rollers 19 and fixed by its other end to a winch 21 moved by the engine of the truck. The rollers 19 can rotate on axes 20 (FIG. 2) fixed to the slides. The winch 21 can be engaged and disengaged with the engine of the truck by any suitable means not shown in the drawing.
The loading of the truck described takes place as follows. It is assumed that this involves loading the truck with a material without packaging, for example coal. When the bucket is in the position shown in fig. 1, the driver reverses the truck, so that the bucket is pushed into said material until it is filled. After reversing the engine, the driver engages the winch; the cable 18 winds on the drum of the winch and drives the bucket. If the trolley of the latter passes from the vertical part of the slides into the inclined part, it turns with the bucket at an angle of approximately 90 so that the contents of the bucket then rest on the wall 14.
When the bucket has arrived at the desired point above the apron, the driver disengages the winch and brakes it, for example by operating a pedal; then it actuates, by means of non-drawn traction members, the pawls 17 so that the bucket which rests by its wall 14 on these pawls tilts into the position indicated in dotted lines in FIG. 1 and unloads its contents into the truck. The driver then releases the winch brake so that the body without the influence of its own weight slides towards the rear of the truck. Art the moment it enters the vertical part of the slides it stands up in the original position.
The driver can then, by releasing the aforementioned traction organs, engage the pawls 17 behind the wall 14. The bucket is then ready to receive a new load.
When the truck is loaded, the tipper is pulled over the driver's cab. The bolts 11 are removed from the eyes 12, 13 and the side walls of the bucket are folded over the wall 14, after which the wall 8 is folded over the side walls.
To facilitate the unloading of the truck, the apron can preferably be arranged so as to be able to tilt about an axis mounted in the rear part of the chassis. A cable, fixed to the front part of the apron and to the winch, allows the table to be tilted for unloading.
