Fussgewölbehalter. Über den Mittelfuss zu stülpende, aus einem schlauchartigen, elastischen Gewebe bestehende Bandagen sind bekannt. Sie dienen dazu, die Mittelfussknochen zusammenzuhalten und auf diese 'Weise den Fuss auch etwas zu entlasten. Ein Einsinken des Fussgewölbes, als Folge einer Stellungs- oder For)nverän- derung seiner Knochen, oder seines ganzen Gefüges vermögen derartige Mittelfussbänder aber nicht zu verhüten.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Fussgewölbehalter mit einem elastischen, zum Umfassen des das Fussgewölbe bildenden Fussteiles bestimmten schlauchartigen Gewe bestück und einem Zugband zu:n Festhalten des Gewebestückes, wobei das Zugband in voller Breite am vordern Rand des das Soh lenstück bildenden Teils des schlauchartigen Gewebestückes angreift und von hier innen- seitig schräg nach aufwärts und, einen Bogen bildend, nach dem hintern äussern Seitenrand des Gewebestückes verläuft, wo es an diesem befestigt ist, derart, dass es unter dem Fuss- knöcbel um - die Ferse sowie den hintern Teil des Fusses sich herumlegen lässt.
In .der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes, an einem Fusse angeordnet, schaubildlich dar gestellt; es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Ansicht desselben schräg vor) unten her gegen die Innenseite des Fusses gesehen, Fig. 2 eine Ansicht gegen die Fuss sohle und Fig. 3 eine Ansicht gegen die Aussen seite des Fusses hin.
Der Fussgewölbehalter besteht im Wesent lichen aus dem schlauchartigen Gewebestück a, und dem Zugband b, die beide aus einem elastischen Gewebe, zum Beispiel Gurnmizug- gewebe bestehen. Das Zugband G ist einer- ends am vordern Rand des -das Sohlenstück bildenden Teils des schlauchartigen Gewebe stückes und anderends am hintern äussern Seitenrand auf seiner ganzen Breite befestigt, so dass die beiden Teile ihre gegenseitige Lage nicht ändern können.
Bei Benützung des Fussgewölbehalters wird das schlauchartige Gewebestück ca über den das Fussgewölbe bildenden mittleren Fuss teil gezogeri, derart, dass der an .seinem vor- dern Rand befestigte Teil des Zugbandes b sich unter der Fusssohle befindet. Der übrige Teil des Zugbandes wird von der Fusssohle her nach rückwärts schräg aufwärts ver laufend, auf der Innenseite des Fusses unter halb des Knöchels und um die Ferse und den hintern Teil des Fusses herumgelegt.
Vorteilhafterweise kann das Zugband an dem unterhalb des Fusses liegenden Teil durch Auf- oder Einlagen aus weniger nachgiebigem oder unnachgiebigem Material, wie Gummi, Leder, etc. verstärkt sein; auch kann dieser Teil des Zugbandes aus an sich stärkerem Material, hergestellt sein.
Im weiteren können auch Taschen c mit Schlitzen d zur Aufnahme von Stütz- oder Unterlagekörpern für die Ferse, das Mittelfuss- oder das Metatarsalgewölbe angeordnet sein.
Auch kann das auf die Aussenseite des Fusses zu liegen kommende Ende des Zug bandes b gegabelt sein, so dass ein Strang oberhalb und der andere unterhalb des äussern Knöchels nach dem Gewebestück geführt sein kann. Die Verbindung zwischen dem schlauch artigen Gewebestück und dem Zugband kann sowohl eine feste wie auch eine lösbare und verstellbare sein. Das Zugband in Verbindung mit dem schlauchartigen Gewebestück wirkt ähnlich wie die Spannmuskeln des normalen Fussgewölbes. Es unterfasst die ganze Fuss innenseite und verhütet infolge seiner Span nung ein Einsinken derselben.
Soweit beide Teile des Fussgewölbehalters fest auf einan der liegen, bilden sie eine verstärkte Zone, die dem gefährdetesten Teil des Fusses einen erhöhten und doch noch elastischen Wider stand zu bieten vermag.
Der dargestellte und beschriebene Fussge- wölbehalter ersetzt die bekannten, in das Schuhwerk einzulegenden Stützeinlagen und ist insbesondere auch in den Fällen verwend bar, wo es darauf ankommt, dass die freie Bewegungsfähigkeit des Fusses unbehindert bleibt, wie beispielsweise beim Springen, Turnen- und der Ausübung andern Sportes.

The arch support consists essentially of the hose-like piece of fabric a and the drawstring b, both of which consist of an elastic fabric, for example elastic fabric. Advantageously, the drawstring on the part below the foot can be reinforced by pads or inserts made of less flexible or unyielding material such as rubber, leather, etc.; this part of the drawstring can also be made of a stronger material.
Furthermore, pockets c with slots d for receiving support or base bodies for the heel, the metatarsal or the metatarsal vault can also be arranged.
The end of the tension band b coming to lie on the outside of the foot can also be forked so that one strand can be guided above and the other below the outer ankle after the piece of tissue. The connection between the hose-like piece of fabric and the drawstring can be both fixed and detachable and adjustable. The drawstring in connection with the hose-like piece of fabric works similarly to the tension muscles of the normal arch of the foot. It grips the entire inside of the foot and prevents it from sinking in as a result of its tension.
As far as both parts of the arch support are firmly on one another, they form a reinforced zone that is able to offer the most endangered part of the foot an increased and yet elastic resistance.
The arched foot holder shown and described replaces the known support inserts to be inserted into the footwear and is particularly useful in cases where it is important that the free mobility of the foot remains unhindered, such as jumping, gymnastics and exercising other sport.
