Appareil pour massages. L'objet de la présente invention est un appareil pour massages, lequel présente la forme d'une cloche évidée en caoutchouc, comportant une poignée; le tout établi de telle sorte que lorsque l'appareil est posé sur le corps, l'on puisse en exerçant une pression sur la poignée faire sortir l'air de l'intérieur de la cloche, de manière que l'appareil, fonc tionnant comme une ventouse, permette d'exercer des tractions sur la partie du corps que l'on désire masser.
Les fig. 1 et 2 du dessin annexé mon trent, à, titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécu tion de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une coupe en élévation; La fig. 2 en est une vue en plan. L'appareil pour massages présente la forme d'une cloche 1, en caoutchouc, évidée à l'intérieur; la partie supérieure de l'évide ment communique avec l'extérieur au moyen d'un canal 2 ménagé au travers de la paroi de caoutchouc.
Le sommet de la cloche 1 se prolonge par une poignée 3, venue de caoutchouc égale ment, et permettant de manipuler l'appareil. Le fonctionnement de l'appareil est le suivant: en saisissant l'appareil de manière à pouvoir aisément appliquer un doigt sur l'ouverture extérieure du canal 2 pour ob turer ce dernier, il suffit de poser l'appa reil, par sa surface circulaire 4, sur la par tie du corps que l'on désire masser; en exer çant une pression sur la cloche 1, au moyen de la poignée 3, de manière que la cloche pré sente une forme telle qu'indiquée en poin tillé à la fig. 1, l'air s'échappe par le canal 2, et il suffit alors d'obturer l'ouverture de ce dernier, pour que l'appareil, fonctionnant comme une ventouse, adhère sur le corps; on peut ainsi exercer des tractions sur la peau et masser le corps.
Il est prévu l'emploi d'un bouchon, non représenté au dessin, pouvant être introduit dans le canal 2, de manière à obturer ce der nier lorsqu'on utilise l'appareil; l'on évite ainsi la nécessité de maintenir constamment un doigt appliqué sur ledit canal.

Fig. 1 is a section in elevation; Fig. 2 is a plan view. The massage device has the shape of a bell 1, made of rubber, hollowed out inside; the upper part of the recess communicates with the outside by means of a channel 2 formed through the rubber wall.
The top of the bell 1 is extended by a handle 3, also made of rubber, and allowing the device to be handled. The operation of the device is as follows: by grasping the device in such a way as to be able to easily apply a finger to the external opening of channel 2 to close the latter, it suffices to place the device on its circular surface 4, on the part of the body that you want to massage; by exerting pressure on the bell 1, by means of the handle 3, so that the bell has a shape as indicated in a dotted line in FIG. 1, the air escapes through channel 2, and it is then sufficient to close the opening of the latter, so that the device, functioning as a suction cup, adheres to the body; one can thus exert traction on the skin and massage the body.
Provision is made for the use of a plug, not shown in the drawing, which can be inserted into the channel 2, so as to close the latter when the device is used; this avoids the need to constantly keep a finger applied to said channel.
