Tampon. L'objet de la présente invention est un tampon destiné à être engagé dans le goulot d'un récipient, tel que bouteille, flacon, etc. Ce tampon est caractérisé par un dispositif formant bouchon dont la face avant est en forme de cuvette et est reliée par au moins un .conduit à la face arrière du dispositif, par un capuchon coiffant la face avant de ce dispositif, et par un organe élastique placé dans la cuvette et appuyant contre le capu chon, le tout de façon que le tampon, engagé dans le goulot,
serve à la fois à obturer le récipient et à permettre de frotter avec le capuchon une surface que l'on doit humecter avec le liquide contenu dans ce récipient.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, quatre formes d'exécution de l'ob jet de la présente invention, ainsi que cinq variantes.
Les fig. 1 à 3 montrent, dans différentes positions d'emploi, un flacon muni d'un tam pon selon une première forme d'exécution. La fig. 4 est une coupe axiale par le goulot du flacon. Chacune des fig. 5 à 7 est une coupe axiale d'une variante des autres formes d'exécution. Les fig. 8 à 12 montrent des variantes d'un détail.
Aux fig. 1 à 4, 1 est un flacon, dans le goulot duquel est engagé le tampon 2; exté rieurement, ce goulot présente un pas de vis 3, sur lequel on peut visser le bouchon 4. La fig. 1 montre le flacon bouché, reposant sur son fond, ainsi qu'on le range lorsqu'il n'est pas employé. La fig. 2 le montre dé bouché et reposant sur une face plane 5; c'est la position dans laquelle on le met, par exemple, lorsque, pendant un travail, on cesse un instant de l'utiliser.
Enfin, en fig, â, il est représenté tenu à. la main, la face avant du tampon. 2 appliquée contre une surface que l'on frotte avec le tampon, en même temps qu'on l'humecte au moyen du liquide contenu dans le flacon.
Le tampon 2, que l'on voit à plus grande échelle à la fig. 4, comprend un bouchon (i présentant, à son extrémité avant et à son extrémité arrière, un épaulement latéral 7, respectivement 8. En outre, la face avant est creusée d'une cuvette 9 reliée par un con duit 10 à la face arrière.
Dans cette cuvette est disposé un coussin 11, en une matière souple et élastique, par exemple en feutre, en éponge, en caoutchouc-éponge, etc. 12 est un capuchon en tissu coiffant l'extrémité avant du bouchon et dont le bord est com primé entre ce dernier et. une bague élasti- itue 13, en caoutchouc lxir exemple, qui est engagée entre les deux épaulements 6 et 7 et qui sert à maintenir le tampon dans le goulot par frottement et pression contre les parois de celui-ci.
Lorsque le flacon est renversé, comme montré en fig. 3, le liquide qu'il contient passe petit à petit dans le coussin 11 qui reste toujours -humide et qui imbibe lui- même le tissu 12 avec lequel on frotte la surface à traiter.
Le, processus est le suivant: Par une pnemière pression du tampon .sur 1a surface à humecter, le liquide est expulsé, puis l'on soulève le flacon; le coussin se gonfle d'air et, par une deuxième pression sur ladite surface, cet air est chassé à l'intérieur du flacon, où une légère pression compense alors le vide produit par le premier écoule ment; de ce fait, le liquide tend à sortir et si l'on soulève un peu le flacon, le coussin se remplit à nouveau de liquide.
Dans la forme d'exécution de fig. 5, le bouchon est formé de deux pièces métalli- ques 14 et 15 fixées l'une à l'autre par un sertissage et serrant entre elles le bord du capuchon 12, et d,'une rondelle en matière élastique 16, par exemple en liège, elia,s,sée sur la partie 15, et qui sert à maintenir le tampon dans le goulot par frottement et pression sur les parois de celui-ci.
Dans la forme d'exécution de fig. 6, le bouchon est formé de quatre parties, la rondelle 16a, le tube 17, la cuvette 18 et la bague 19; cette dernière est chassée dans la cuvette, presse contre la paroi de celle-ci le bord du capu chon 12. Enfin, dans la forme d'exécution de fig. 7, le bouchon est constitué par une pièce de liège qui presse elle-même par une partie 20 de son pourtour la paroi du goulot. Cette pièce présente une gorge rectangulaire 21, dans laquelle est logée une bague 22 servant, contre le goulot, le bord du capuchon 12.
Les fig. 8 à 12 montrent des dispositifs pouvant remplacer le coussin 11 susdécrit. En fig. 8, on a logé dans la cuvette 14 et sous le capuchon 12 une sorte de cloche 23 en caoutchouc perforé. En fig. 9, c'est une balle creuse 24 en caoutchouc perforé. En fig. 10, c'est une boîte extensible 25, dans laquelle est logé un ressort à boudin 26.
En fig. 11, ce ressort à boudin 27 est directe ment placé entre le fond de la cuvette et un renforcement 28 du capuchon. Enfin, en fig. 12, on a une calotte en métal 29, élasti- clue et perforée, épousant le fond du capu chon sur sa plus grande partie.

In fig. 1 to 4, 1 is a bottle, in the neck of which the buffer 2 is engaged; Externally, this neck has a screw thread 3, onto which the cap 4 can be screwed. The buffer 2, which can be seen on a larger scale in FIG. 4, comprises a plug (i having, at its front end and at its rear end, a lateral shoulder 7, respectively 8. In addition, the front face is hollowed out by a bowl 9 connected by a duct 10 to the rear face. .
In this bowl is disposed a cushion 11, made of a flexible and elastic material, for example felt, sponge, sponge rubber, etc. 12 is a fabric cap covering the front end of the cap and the edge of which is compressed between the latter and. an elastic ring 13, made of rubber for example, which is engaged between the two shoulders 6 and 7 and which serves to hold the buffer in the neck by friction and pressure against the walls thereof.
When the bottle is inverted, as shown in fig. 3, the liquid which it contains passes little by little into the cushion 11 which always remains wet and which itself soaks the fabric 12 with which the surface to be treated is rubbed.
The process is as follows: By a first pressure of the tampon on the surface to be moistened, the liquid is expelled, then the vial is lifted; the cushion inflates with air and, by a second pressure on said surface, this air is expelled inside the bottle, where a slight pressure then compensates for the vacuum produced by the first flow; as a result, the liquid tends to come out and if the bottle is lifted a little, the cushion fills again with liquid.
In the embodiment of FIG. 5, the stopper is formed of two metal parts 14 and 15 fixed to one another by a crimping and clamping together the edge of the cap 12, and of a washer of elastic material 16, for example of cork, elia, s, sée on part 15, and which serves to maintain the tampon in the neck by friction and pressure on the walls thereof.
In the embodiment of FIG. 6, the plug is formed of four parts, the washer 16a, the tube 17, the cup 18 and the ring 19; the latter is driven into the bowl, presses against the wall thereof the edge of the capu chon 12. Finally, in the embodiment of FIG. 7, the stopper consists of a piece of cork which itself presses a part of its periphery against the wall of the neck. This part has a rectangular groove 21, in which is housed a ring 22 serving, against the neck, the edge of the cap 12.
Figs. 8 to 12 show devices that can replace the cushion 11 described above. In fig. 8, there is housed in the bowl 14 and under the cap 12 a sort of bell 23 of perforated rubber. In fig. 9, it is a hollow ball 24 of perforated rubber. In fig. 10, it is an expandable box 25, in which is housed a coil spring 26.
In fig. 11, this coil spring 27 is directly placed between the bottom of the bowl and a reinforcement 28 of the cap. Finally, in fig. 12, there is a metal cap 29, elasticized and perforated, marrying the bottom of the capu chon on its greater part.
