  Verfahren zur     Herstellung    eines     indigoiden        Farbstoffes    der     Anthracenreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen  neuen     indigoiden    Farbstoff der     Anthracen-          ieihe    erhält, wenn man das     1,2-Anthracen-          oxythiophen    mit einem     Anil    des     2,3-An-          thracenthioisatins    kondensiert.

   Der neue  Farbstoff ist- in kalter     Schwefelsäure    un  löslich; er bildet mit     Hydrosulfit    und Na  tronlauge eine rotviolette     Küpe,    aus     welchcr     Baumwolle in echten     gelbstichig    grünen Tö  nen gefärbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  \28 Teile     1,2-Anthracenoxythioplieii    wer  den mit 42 Teilen des     p-Dimethylaminoanils     des     2,3-Anthracenthioisatins    und 1000 Tei  len     Pyridin    zwei Stunden unter     Rückfluss     gekocht. Der ausgeschiedene Farbstoff wird  abgesaugt, gewaschen und getrocknet.  



  Derselbe Farbstoff entsteht auch, wenn  man     statt    der     Oxythiophenverbindung    die    entsprechende     Thioglykolkarbonsäure    ver  wendet. In diesem Falle arbeitet man in  Gegenwart von     Essigsäureanhydrid    und       Natriumacetat,    wobei die     Oxythiophenver-          bindung    zunächst entsteht und dann mit  den vorhandenen Komponenten reagiert.

   The new dye is insoluble in cold sulfuric acid; Together with hydrosulphite and sodium hydroxide solution, it forms a red-violet vat, from which cotton is dyed in real yellowish green tones.



  <I> Example: </I> \ 28 parts of 1,2-anthracene oxythioplieii are refluxed for two hours with 42 parts of the p-dimethylaminoanil of 2,3-anthracene thioisatin and 1000 parts of pyridine. The precipitated dye is filtered off, washed and dried.



  The same dye is also produced if the corresponding thioglycolic acid is used instead of the oxythiophene compound. In this case one works in the presence of acetic anhydride and sodium acetate, whereby the oxythiophene compound is formed first and then reacts with the components present.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines indi- goiden Farbstoffes der Anthracenreihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das 1.,2-Anthracenoxythiophen mit einem Anil des 2"3-Anthracenthioisatins kondensiert. Der neue Farbstoff ist in kalter Schwefel säure unlöslich; er bildet mit Hydrosulfit und Natronlauge eine rotviolette Küpe, aus welcher Baumwolle in echten gelbstichig grünen Tönen gefärbt wird.
