Description

  

  Stichsichere Zwischenlage zwischen Mantel und Luftschlauch von Auto- und  Veloradbereifungen.    Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine  stichsichere Zwischenlage zwischen Mantel  und Luftschlauch von Auto- und     Velorad-          bereifungen,    und dient dazu, die Verletzun  gen des Luftschlauches, zum Beispiel durch  Nägel, zu verhindern.  



  Beiliegende Zeichnung stellt eine bei  spielsweise Ausführungsform im Querschnitt  in grösserem Massstab durch eine solche  Zwischenlage dar. Die Zwischenlage be  steht aus verschiedenen Schichten, die, wenn  zusammengepresst, zwischen Mantel und  Luftschlauch zu liegen kommt. In der  Zeichnung ist 1 die erste und 2 die letzte  Schicht; beide werden zweckmässig aus Lein  wand gewählt, können jedoch auch aus  einem andern Stoffe, zum Beispiel Leder,  sein. Die weitere Schicht besteht aus  Watte 3, auf welche eine Schicht Kleb  stoff 4 folgt, die am besten aus sogenann  tem Fliegenleim, das heisst einem Leim,  der nicht trocknet, besteht. Auf diese  Schicht folgt eine in heissen Leim getauchte    Leinwand 5, worauf wieder eine Schicht  Klebstoff 6, genau wie 4, folgt. Auf die  Schicht 6 folgt eine einfache Lage Watte 7  und auf diese eine doppelte Lage Watte 8  und 9.

   Um die verschiedenen Schichten zu  sammenzuhalten, folgt die Schicht 2.  



  Werden nun diese kombinierten Schich  ten zwischen den Mantel und.den Luft  schlauch als Zwischenlage gelegt und wird  der Luftschlauch durch Luft aufgetrieben,  so wird die Zwischenlage auf ein gewisses  Mass zusammengedrückt. Wird     --nun    beim       Fahren    irgend ein Gegenstand, zum Bei  spiel ein Nagel, in das Rad respektive den  Mantel desselben eingedrückt, so wird er  wohl die Schicht 1 und 8 durchdrücken,  doch schon die Schicht 4, der Klebstoff,  wird die     .Spitze    des Nagels umhüllen und  stumpf machen, so dass diese Spitze die  Schicht 5, die aus in Leim getränkter Lein  wand besteht, nicht mehr zu durchstechen  vermag.

   Zur Sicherheit folgen nun noch  eine Schicht Klebstoff 6, ausserdem noch die      Schichten 7, 8 und 9, so dass der Luft  schlauch vor jeder Beschädigung vollstän  dig geschützt ist.
