Behälter, insbesondere für Schweinefutter, tierische Abfälle und dergleichen. Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein hauptsächlich für Schweinefutter, tierische Abfälle und dergleichen bestimmter Behälter, welcher einen Deckel besitzt, der mittelst eines Dichtungsringes auf dem Öffnungsrand des Behälters aufsitzt, sowie durch einen Angriffs teil mit einem Widerlager des Behälters und gegenüberliegend durch einen Spannverschluss lösbar mit dem Behälter verbunden ist zwecks hermetischen Abschlusses des Behälters und anderseits um den Deckel behufs Entleerung des Behälters leicht von diesem wegnehmen zu können.
Zwecks Vermeidung von gefährlichen Drücken durch im Behälter sich entwickelnde Gase, ist gemäss vorliegender Erfindung der Behälterdeckel mit einem Ventil versehen, welches bei einem im Behälter entstandenen gewissen Gasdruck sich selbsttätig öffnet.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes darge stellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 den Behälter im Aufriss,_ Fig. 2 einen Grundriss- zu Fig. 1, Fig. 3 in grösserem Massstab das Ventil im Längsschnitt.
Der beispielsweise aus Eisenblech beste hende Behälter 1 ist am Öffnungsrand durch einen aufgeschweissten äussern Ring 3 verstärkt und besitzt zwei zur Handhabung des .Behäl ters dienende Handgriffe 4, welche verschw errk- bar gelagert sind und für gewöhnlich frei an ihrem Lager herabhängen. 5 ist der ebenfalls aus Eisenblech bestehende Deckel, welcher mittelst eines in der Zeichnung nicht sicht baren, in einer Einfassung angeordneten Dich tungsringes, beispielsweise aus Kautschuk be stehend, auf dem Öffnungsrand des Behälters aufsitzt.
Am Deckel 4 ist ein Metallband 9 angebracht, an dessen ösenartiges eines Ende mittelst eines Gelenkstückes 10 ein Spann griff 11 angelenkt ist. Das andere Ende des Bandes 9 ist zu einem Haken 12 umgebogen, der ein Loch aufweist für den Durchtritt eines am Behälter 1 vorgesehenen Hornes 13. Diesem ähnlich ist ein gegenüberliegend am Behälter 1 angebrachtes Horn 13', welches einem ex zentrischen Teil des Spanngriffes 11 als Wider lager dient. Durch den Angriff des Hakens 12 am Horn 13 und des Spanngriffes 11 am Horn 13' wird der Deckel 5 mit seinem Dich tungsring fest gegen den Öffnungsrand des Behälters 1 gedrückt, so dass letzterer her metisch abgeschlossen ist.
Nach Aufklappen des Spanngriffes 11 lässt sich derselbe vom Horn 13' weg verschwerrken, so dass er auf den Deckel 5 aufgelegt werden kann. Als dann kann der Deckel 5 um das nun als Kippachse dienende Horn 13 versehwenkt und durch Abschieben vom Horn 13 vom Behälter weggenommen werden, worauf der Behälter 1 durch Umstürzen bequem entleert werden kann. Die zwecks Abschliessung des Behälters durch den Deckel auszuführenden Manipulationen sind ohne weiteres zu erken nen.
Auf den Behälterdeckel 5 ist ein aus zwei Teilen 14 und 15 bestehendes Ventilgehäuse aufgeschraubt, welches eine Kammer 16 auf weist. Diese Kammer 16 steht durch Löcher 17 mit der Aussenluft in Verbindung und kann über einen Kanal 18 mit dem Behälter innern in Verbindung treten. Dies tritt ein, sobald im Behälter 1 sich ein Gasdruck ent wickelt hat, infolge welchem eine in der Kammer 16 untergebrachte Ventilkugel 19 von ihrem Sitz 20 abgehoben wird. Dadurch wird der Gefahr der Sprengung des geschlos senen Behälters durch in demselben entstan denen Gasdruck vorgebeugt.
Die durch das Ventil ausströmenden Gase könnten gegebenenfalls durch ein vom Auf stellungsraum des Behälters ins Freie führen des Rohr abgeleitet werden. Die Ventilkugel kann im Gewicht dem Bedarf entsprechend leichter oder schwerer sein. Da die das Ventilgehäuse bildenden zwei Teile 14 und 15 miteinander verschraubt sind, kann das Gehäuse, z. B. zwecks Kon trolle oder Reinigung leicht zerlegt werden.
