Description

  

      Versehlussglied,    insbesondere     für    Ketten.    Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein       Verschlussglied,    insbesondere für     Ketten,    das  sich auch zum Schliessen von Riemen,     ,Strik-          ken        etc.,        zum.    Beispiel zum Anbinden von  Vieh und leichten raschen Lösen desselben  eignet.  



  Auf der Zeichnung, :die ein Ausführungs  beispiel des     Erfindungsgegenstandes        darstellt,     ist     Fig.    1 eine     Seitenansicht        desselben,        Fig.    2  eine Draufsicht, und     Fig.    3 eine Stirnansicht  von links der     Fig.    1.  



  Das gezeichnete     Verschlussglied    besitzt  zwei am einen Ende durch einen Bolzen 1 zu  sammengelenkte Arme 2 und 3. Für den An  schluss einer Kette weist der Arm 2 ein Loch  4 auf. und :der Arm 3 ist am     angelenkten     Ende zum Hindurchführen des andern Ket  tenendes     zwischen    den beiden Armen     gebo-          gern.    Das vordere, in     F'ig.    1 und 2 linke Ende  des Armes 2 besitzt zwei nach oben ragende  Haken 5 und 6, die auf der einander nähern  Seite, das heisst     einwärts    offen sind.

   Der Arm  3 besteht aus einer kräftigen, doppelten Blatt  fed-er, .deren .Schenkel an den bei geschlosse  nem Glied vorn über ,die     Haken:    5 und 6 hin  ausragenden Enden seitwärts auseinander-    federn. Werden die Federschenkel des Armes  3 durch Zusammendrücken einander genähert,  so können sie bequem zwischen die Haken 5  und 6 eingeführt werden.

   Beim Loslassen  der Federschenkel gehen die, letzteren selbst  tätig auseinander und kommen dabei in     die     Haken 5 und 6, zu     liegen.    Der     Arm3    kann dann  nicht vom Arm 2 weggeschwungen werden,  auch wenn ,auf ihn am gebogenen     Ende     (rechts) ein kräftiger Zug ausgeübt wird, weil  die Öffnungsrichtung senkrecht zur Feder  wirkung liegt.

       Zum        Öffnen    des     Verschluss-          gliedes    genügt es, die beiden     Federschenkel     des Armes 3     @durch        Zusammendrücken    mit  den Haken 5 und 6     .ausser    Eingriff zu brin  gen, was selbst bei starkem     Zug    ,auf     ,das        Ver-          sclhlussglied    ohne .grossen Kraftaufwand mög  lich ist.

  The illustrated closure member has two arms 2 and 3 articulated together at one end by a bolt 1. The arm 2 has a hole 4 for connecting a chain. and: the arm 3 is bent at the articulated end for passing the other chain end between the two arms. The front one, in Fig. 1 and 2 left end of the arm 2 has two upwardly projecting hooks 5 and 6, which are open on the side approaching each other, that is, inwardly.

   The arm 3 consists of a strong, double leaf spring, the legs of which are attached to the closed link at the front, the hooks: 5 and 6 projecting ends spring apart sideways. If the spring legs of the arm 3 are brought closer to one another by being pressed together, they can easily be inserted between the hooks 5 and 6.

   When you let go of the spring legs, the latter actively part and come to rest in hooks 5 and 6. Arm3 cannot then be swung away from arm 2, even if a strong pull is exerted on it at the bent end (right) because the opening direction is perpendicular to the spring action.

       To open the locking member, it is sufficient to disengage the two spring legs of the arm 3 @ by pressing together with the hooks 5 and 6, which is possible even with strong pull on the locking member without great effort .

Claims

PATENT CLAIM Closure link, in particular for chains, with two arms articulated together at one end and releasably connected to one another at the other end, characterized in that one arm is designed as a sideways open hook and the first arm is designed to be resilient at the end opposite the hinge, so that the last-mentioned arm in the closed position can be disengaged from the hook by a lateral pressure and then the locking member can be opened.

SUBCLAIM: Closure member according to claim, characterized in that the one arm has two resiliently spread legs and the other arm has two mutually open hooks, between which the resilient arm can be inserted under compression of its thighs for the purpose of closing the member, whereupon after releasing the legs, they automatically engage with the hooks.
