Compression gauges for engines. The present invention is a compression pressure gauge for engines and is used to measure the compression pressure in the individual cylinders of the engine. There are compression pressure inesser known "which there is a display device, in front of this a check valve and connected to this a connector for connection to the cylinder to be examined.
Since the cylinders, depending on the type of engine, have different threads for the spark plug, in the place of which the connection piece of the compression pressure gauge is attached during the investigation, a special pressure gauge was previously necessary for each engine type.
This disadvantage is avoided by the compression pressure meter according to the present invention in that the connection piece is arranged separately from the check valve and connected to it by a pipe, the connection piece being exchangeable.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown, and it shows; FIG. 1 is a view, FIG. 2 is a section through a part of FIG. 1.
The display device 1 is connected to a housing 2, namely screwed ver. In this housing 2, a wind boiler 5 and a check valve 6 is arranged. At the other end of the housing 2, a pipe 3 is fastened by means of a thread and threaded nut 7, which ends in a connector 4. The pipeline 3 consists of a flexible material, for example tombac "so that it can be bent as desired. The connector 4, which is fastened to the pipeline by means of a thread and threaded nut $, can be exchanged in such a way that the thread 15 dem concern the thread on the cylinder.
In Fig. 2, a longitudinal section through the housing 2 is shown. The air vessel 5 has three different openings, of which the one 9 at the upper end of the wind vessel for connection to the display device 1 is used.
The lower opening 10 is loaded by the check valve 6
