Wrench with reversible lever ;. Wrenches, in which the wrench head is connected to the key shaft by a joint, and in whose -seine longitudinal axis rotatable head part a reversible switching mechanism for right and left gear is installed, are known. It is also known to arrange the ratchets in such switching mechanisms parallel to the axis of rotation of the head piece forming the key head in a circle around the axis.
The switch pawls have an inclined contact surface at the top and are under the action of compression springs that try to push the switch pawls into notches that are located in the joint.
The pawls are in the known screw wrenches so in "their guides a set that each of the first, third, etc. with the slope to the right, the second, fourth, etc. is directed with the slope to the left, with only the right or the switching pawls directed to the left come into engagement with the notches in the joint piece, while the other half of the pawls are kept out of action by a suitable means, for example by an adjusting ring.
The wrench on which the invention is based differs from these known constructions fundamentally Lich in that the spring-influenced pawls arranged parallel to the axis of rotation of the head piece in a circle around this always all engage simultaneously in the catches in the joint piece and jointly for the actuation of the adjusting ring Clockwise or counterclockwise gear can be reversed, namely by the fact that the pawls are provided with teeth on part of their circumference,
In which teeth provided as internal toothing in the adjusting ring engage, through which the pawls can be rotated about 180 about their axis so that after the rotation they are directed opposite their previous position with their bevels.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is provided, namely shows: Fig. 1 the same with a vertical section through. the rear derailleur, Fig. 2 and 0 'each a plan view of the rear derailleur when setting for right and left gear.
The key shown has a shaft a, with which the head part of the key consisting of the (-elenl @ sl: iiclr 1 ) and the head piece c is articulated. Ge joint piece b and head piece c are held together by a screw d in such a way that the latter can rotate about its axis. Between the joint piece and the head piece, the adjusting ring e, which is arranged on the head piece c, engages with an inwardly directed edge flange.
In the head piece c a number of ratchet pawls f are arranged parallel to its axis and in a circle around it, which are held in engagement by compression springs g with the ratchets provided in the joint piece: b.
The shift pawls f, which are versebenen at their upper end with a sloping flange surface, are provided on part of their circumference with longitudinal grooves which form tooth gaps into which teeth engage, which can be found as internal teeth in the adjusting ring c. The internal toothing in the adjustment ring is not designed as a complete ring gear, but rather it consists of individual segments that are connected to one another by toothless bridges.
The number of tooth segments corresponds to the number of pawls and the toothless bridges between them limit the rotary movement of the Verstellrüiges and accordingly also those of the pawls.
During the rotation of the 'adjusting ring e on the head piece c, the Klin ken f roll on the internal teeth of the adjusting ring e from and rotate about their axes. As a result of the limitation of the rotational movement of the adjusting ring e by the non-toothed bridges provided between the toothed lines, the rotation of the pawls about their axes is about. 180 '. The cut-offs of the pawls are therefore according to after a rotation opposite to their position before the rotation.
When using the key, the insert in the head piece is placed on the nut or screw head to be loosened or tightened, and then the key shaft, after it is set in the joint at right angles to the central axis of the head piece, when the nut is stuck swiveled to the right so that the joint piece b is rotated in the pin of the 1Tlirdexcr ::.
The switching pawls f accommodated in the head piece c are in such a way that their non-beveled flanks point to the right, and their upper ends protrude into the notches lz provided in the joint piece. When the key shaft oscillates to the right, the head piece is taken along and rotates around its central axis.
With the swinging movement of the key shaft a to the left, that is to say backwards, the notch edges in the joint slide on the bevels of the pawls and push them downward against the action of the compression springs g carrying the pawls. The head piece therefore does not take part in the rubbing movement of the key shaft.
If the switching pawls are rotated by 180 about their axes by rotating the adjusting ring e accordingly, their straight flanks are to the left, and the head piece c is moved to the left when the key shaft oscillates, i.e. opposite to the Direction of the clockwise, taken, and the nut or screw gripped with the head piece is loosened.
