Motor vehicle. The subject of the present invention is a motor vehicle with devices by means of which the rear wheels are connected to the chassis so that an adjustment of at least one pair is possible relative to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

26 shows an elevation of FIG. 25, FIG. 27 shows details of FIG. 25.
According to Fig. 1 and 2, a construction is provided in which two rear wheel axles are arranged to rotate about a point together bar. The motor axis 2 is mounted in the chassis frame 1 and drives the gear 10 mounted in the housing 6 through axes which are articulated by means of the ball joints 3, 4. The gearwheel 10 drives the gearwheel 11, and from here the bevel gears 12, 17 mounted in the rear wheel housings 14, 15 are driven, which drive the rear wheel axles by means of the bevel gears 13, 16. The axis of the gear 11 and the Ach sen of the wheels 12, 17 are connected by ball joints 7, 8. The rear wheels 18, 20, 19, 21 are provided on the two rear wheel axles. The axle spring arrangement is not shown. Likewise, the struts of the two rear wheel housings 14, 15 are not shown.
The latter are braced together in such a way that close to the two, one behind the other, the impellers have struts going from one housing to the other. The housing 6 is now mounted rotatably against the plate 5, and as soon as the housing 6 is brought into the position according to FIG. 2 by a control (not shown), the two rear wheel pairs assume the position according to FIG.
A construction similar to that in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 represents. Bloss are arranged here in place of the spur gears 10, 11 bevel gears. The motor shaft 23 is mounted in the chassis 22 and drives the bevel wheel 31 by means of ball joints 24, 25 articulated axes, which drives the bevel gear 30 on. In FIG. 17, the drive is shown on a larger scale, with ne additional constructions being omitted and details being added. Fixed to the bevel gear 30, the bevel gear 29 is connected on the axis, which drives the bevel gear 28 on the axis 32. The bevel gear 28 drives the bevel gears 35, 40 by means of ball joints 33, 34 articulated ver related axes. In engagement with the latter are the axle wheels 36, 38, which are ge in the Aclisengehäusen 38, 39 superimposed.
The housing 26 is arranged so that it can slide up and down with respect to the chassis 22 by means of the arms 184, 185, which are attached to the housing 26, on guides which are attached to the chassis (FIG. 17). . In FIG. 17, the wheels 36, 38, which can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, are omitted. The housing 26 cannot be adjusted relative to the chassis 22 in the horizontal direction. The position of the housing 27 depends on the position of the two rear wheel axles. The housing 27 lies with its bead 170 on the bead 169 of the connecting rod 168. A device, not shown, is attached to the housing 27 to rotate the housing and thus adjust the two rear wheel axles. Middle of the handlebars 171, 172 the United connecting rod 168 is hinged to the two rear wheel housings.
The Ge housing 26 can move up and down with respect to the chassis in the vertical direction, but in the horizontal direction with respect to the chassis, the housing cannot perform any parallel displacement. The housing 27 rests against the disk 225 of the housing 26 and is arranged to be rotatable in the horizontal direction with respect to the housing 26. Both housings 26, 27 can be pushed up and down together. The suspension springs 173, 183 (Fig. 18 to 20) rest on the rear wheel bridges and therefore rotate with the rotation of the rear wheels. The springs 173, 183 are attached to a separate frame 1.76 by means of the supports 177, 184 and are fastened to the eyes 179, 1.78 of the rear wheel bridges. This frame carries the center hub 181, which is rotatably mounted on the bolt 226.
The latter is fixed in the bearing 180 which is fastened in the chassis 22. A ring 182 secures the hub 181 and thus the frame 176. The ring 175 is attached to the chassis 22 by means of the U-iron 174. The frame 176 rests against this ring, and consequently the frame 176 can rotate about the bolt 226 against the chassis 22.
The operation of the device just described enclosed according to FIGS. 3, 4, 17, 18, 19 and 20 is shown below.
If a wheel drives over a stone, it increases the position of the relevant axis on the corresponding side and takes the connecting rod 168 upwards on this side. The housing 27 and therefore also the housing 26 are raised somewhat. If the housing 27 is now rotated by means of a device (not shown) for the purpose of control, the two rear wheel pairs with their springs 173, 183 and frame 176 rotate with the frame 176 in the chassis around the bolt that is fastened to the chassis , rotates, the frame 176 always lays against the ring 175. According to Fig. 5, 6, the motor axis 46 is mounted in the chassis 45, which means articulated axis and the ball joint 47, 48, 49, 58 the spur gear 50 and the bevel gear 60 drives.
Through the spur gear 50, the spur gears 51, 52 and the bevel gears 53, 55 in the rear wheel housing 54 are driven. The bevel gear 60 in the housing 59 drives the bevel gears 61, 63, 64, the latter in the housing 65. The housing 59 is in the present case exactly stored in the chassis as the Ge housing 26 according to FIG. 17. All the individual storage units are omitted. The axes of the bevel gears 61, 63 are connected by means of ball joint 62. The rear wheels 56, 57 are not arranged so as to be controllable, while the rear wheel axle, which carries the rear wheels 66, 68, is mounted so that it can be controlled by devices not drawn GE. During the control, the two rear wheels 66, 68 assume a position as shown in FIG. 6.
As can be seen from FIG. 8, the ball joint 62 also allows the rear wheel axle with the two rear wheels 66, 68 to be inclined, in that the axes of the bevel gears 61, 63 can be at an angle to one another.
According to Fig. 7, the Mo gate shaft 46 is mounted in the chassis 70, the mean inter mediate axes and ball joints 47, 48, 49, 50 exactly as in Fig. 5, 6, the rotation transmits to the spur gear 50 and the bevel gear 60. The arrangement is the very same as in Fig. 5, 6, except that the shaft 71 is rigid and between the bevel wheels 61, 63 no ball joint is mounted. The housing 72 is relative to the Ge housing 59 of FIG. 5 rotatably in the La ger 73 which is attached to the chassis 70, is mounted. From Fig. 9 it can be seen how the housing 72 rotates about pin 74, which is mounted in the bearing 73, as soon as the axis of the wheels 66, 68 is at an angle.
In FIGS. 21, 22 the drive according to FIG. 6 is shown on a larger scale. It should only be shown clearly here that when using bevel gears, the axes can be rotated without using a ball. According to FIG. 10, a pair of rear wheels is connected to the axle by means of joints, so that the rear wheels 77, 78 can be pivoted independently. For this purpose, bevel gears are provided which bring about the rotation and at the same time allow pivoting. The bevel gears 80, 81 in the rear wheel housing 87 are driven by the drive shaft 79. The bevel gears 85, 91, which drive the bevel gears 86, 90 attached to the vertical axes 227, 228, are driven by the bevel gear 81.
From these bevel gears, the bevel gears 82, 91a are driven ben, which are firmly connected to the rear wheels 77, 78. While the cylindrical housing 83, 88 are firmly connected to the rear wheels 77, 78, the housing 84, 89 on the housing 87 are brought. The arrangement of the bevel gears thus enables the rear wheels to be adjusted, with the bevel gears transmitting the movement at the same time. According to FIGS. 11 and 12, the principle of the bevel gears just mentioned is repeated. The bevel gear 94 is driven by the motor shaft 93 and transmits its movement to the bevel gear 95. From the latter, the bevel gear 96 and shaft 97 with the bevel gear 98 are driven.
This transmits the movement to the bevel gears 99, 102, 103, shaft 105, bevel gears 106, 107, 108, 109, shaft 110 and bevel gears 111, 112. The bevel gears 95, 112 are firmly connected to the rear wheel axles and drive the rear wheels 115, 117, 116, 118 at. The cylindrical housing 101 adjoins the rear wheel housing 114. The cylindrically turned housing 120 is attached to the rear wheel housing 113. The housings 100, 119, which are also turned into a cylindrical shape, are connected to one another. The housings 101, 100 have their axis of rotation mounted horizontally, while the axis of rotation of the housing 119, 120 is vertical. Assuming the case that the rear wheels 115, 117 hit a stone, the housing 100, 101 rotate about their axis of rotation, while the bevel gears 98, 103 on the bevel gears 99, 102 adjust something.
A ball joint is therefore unnecessary. If the wheels 116, 118 are to be swiveled, the housing 120 rotates with respect to the housing 119, the bevel gear 109 changing its position with respect to the bevel gear 107. The housings 119 and 120 can therefore change their mutual position in the horizontal direction. The housing 100 and 101 are able to change their position to each other in the vertical direction, and the bevel gears in the housing can change their position to each other. This construction clearly shows the dispensability of the ball joints.
A construction similar to that in FIG. 5 is shown in FIGS. 13, 14. In the chassis 121, the motor shaft 122 is ge superimposed, the means articulated Ach sen and articulated couplings l23, 124, 125, 126 the movement on the bevel gears 127, 128, 130, 131 and 134, 135, 137, 138 carries over. The bevel gears 127, 128 are mounted in the housing 222 and the bevel gears 134, 135 are mounted in the housing 142. The bevel gears 130, 131 and 137, 138 are mounted in the rear wheel housings 132, 143. The bevel gears 128, 130 are connected by the joint coupling 129 and the bevel gears 135, 137 are connected by the joint coupling 136. After the foregoing, it is easy to see that the rear wheels 133, 140 and 139, 141 can be adjusted for the purpose of control by a device not shown.
While now in Fig. 13, the drive takes place from above, it happens according to FIGS. 15, 16 from the front. For this purpose, the motor shaft 147 is mounted on the chassis 144, which transmits their movement to the bevel gears 153, 154, 155, 156 and 161, 162, 163 by means of inter mediate axes and articulated couplings 145, 146, 157, 158. However, so that the rear wheel axles can now be adjusted, the housing parts 152, 151, 150 and 160, 159 are arranged rotatably one inside the other, namely according to the principle of a vertical, hollow pin in a vertical bearing. One housing part forms the bearing around the hollow pin, which is formed by other housing parts. In this case, both bearings can rotate around each other in the vertical direction Rich.
The housings are formed in such a way that the parts 151, 152 are connected to one another like a hollow pin, and these two parts can rotate together in the housing 150.
According to FIGS. 23, 24, the two rear wheels 223, 200 are arranged to be pivotable about pivot points 229 230. For this purpose, the housing 190, 193 is turned out cylindrically so that the two parts of the housing, as can be seen from FIG. 24, can rotate relative to one another. The housing part 190 has the two pivot pins 231, 191, which are clasped by the eyes 233, 232 of the housing part. The housing part 190 is followed by the hollow pin 189, which inside the pin 188, which is connected to the hub 224, leads. The wheel 223 is keyed to the hub 224. The ball-and-socket joint claw 194 is fastened on the pin 188. The claw 195 sits on the shaft 197 with the bevel gear 199, which is driven by the motor shaft.
Both claws 194, 195 are connected by the ring 196 by means of pins, so that the two claws 194, 195 and ring 196 form a known articulated coupling. It is easy to understand that the drive from the shaft 197 can easily be transferred to the rear wheels 223 and 200 with the aid of articulated couplings, the latter allowing the rear wheels to be adjusted around the pivot points 229 and 230. The housing parts 190, 193, 198 remain fixed, while the wheels, hub 224, pin 188 and Ge joint coupling rotate. The adjustment of the wheel 223 takes place in the middle of the lever 192. What applies to the housing 190, 193 also applies to the part 201.
In FIGS. 25, 26 a car is shown with the front wheels 203, 204 and the rear wheels 211, 207, 210, 208. The front wheels are adjusted by means of the lever 205 and the rear wheels 207, 208 by means of the lever 209 The wheels in the rear wheel housings 217, 218 are driven by the motor 202. The two rear wheel housings are connected by the tube 221 in which the drive shaft is guided. The two rear axle bridges are connected by springs 212, 213, which are rotatably arranged in bearings 215, 216. The bearings 215, 216 are attached to a continuous axle 214 arranged in the chassis frame.
So that the axes of the rear wheels to the horizontal can adjust independently of one another, the housing 217, 218 must also be able to adjust independently of one another. For this purpose, the housing 217 receives the extension 220 (FIG. 27), which is clasped by the grooved flange 219, which is firmly seated on the tube 221. The rear wheels 207, 208 are controllably attached to a joint on the rear wheel housing.
