Machine for washing, rinsing and drying, especially laundry. The subject of the invention is a machine for washing, rinsing and drying, in particular laundry. The peculiarity of the invention consists in the fact that a centrifugal drum that serves to hold the washing hangs in a container placed on a fire hearth on a vertical shaft and is equipped in the middle with a pipe that rises from the ground, is perforated and open at the bottom the rotation of the drum by shovels arranged at the bottom of the latter, liquid can be conveyed upwards into the perforated tube and then into the interior of the drum, in which it is then driven outwards through the laundry by the centrifugal force.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown. 1 is a front view of the machine, and FIG. 2 is a vertical center section through the machine along the line II-II in FIG.
The machine shown has a hot water stove resting on four feet 1 with a rectangular base shape with fire room 2, these laterally enclose the watercraft 3 and the flue gas duct 4. 5 denotes the axle box and 6 denotes the combustion door. Behind (next to) the furnace 2 a hollow cylindrical hot water ship 7 is arranged standing on the stove, through which the smoke exhaust pipe .8 leads upwards. The water ships 3 and 7 are connected to one another through holes 9. Above the fire room 2, a container 10 is removably attached to the stove.
From the hot water ship 7, two superposed storage brackets 11 and 12 protrude forward. A tubular protective housing 13, which is open at the top and the bottom, is clamped in the upper console 12 and accommodates a ball bearing 14 and a ball bearing 15 for a vertical shaft 16 passing through the protective housing. The shaft 16 carries at the upper, stepped end a bell-shaped friction disc 17, which rests on a con-shaped friction disc 18 when the shaft is lowered, i.e. during operation, the hub of which extends down to the ball bearing 14 and at the lower end by a bevel gear 19 , 20 is inevitably connected to the shaft 21 of an electric motor 22 placed on the bracket 12.
At the lower end part the shaft 16 is held by a ball bearing arranged in the bracket 11. Between the consoles 11 and 12, the shaft 16 is seen with annular grooves 23 ver, with which a gear 24 is in a handle, which is rotated to raise and lower the shaft 16 by a crank 27 attached to its shaft 25 who can. The lower end of the shaft 16 is conical and has a steep Ge thread 28, with which the shaft 16 in the lower end position in the hub 29 of a centrifugal drum 30 located in the container 10 is threaded, which is on a by blades 31 with the hub 29 connected wreath 32 rests. A conical, perforated tube 33 is placed on the latter, which is open at the bottom and tightly encloses the hub 29 at the top.
From below protrudes into the hub with little lateral play at the bottom of the container 10 fastened pin 34 with flange 35. When fully dig into the hub 29 threaded shaft, the hub 29 and with it the centrifugal drum 30 is lifted from the flange 35 so that the latter hangs freely on shaft 18. A handwheel 36 is firmly seated on the shaft 16 above the console 11, which handwheel is also designed as an oil collecting tray and has a larger diameter than the opening 37 of the centrifugal drum. 38 denotes an emptying tap arranged on the container 10, 39 and 40 denote the water inlet and outlet of the hot water ships.
The machine described and shown allows washing, rinsing and drying laundry successively in the spin drum without having to take it out of the spin drum, for example as follows: After loading the laundry into the spin drum, up to the bottom of the lye in the container 10 reaches, the latter is coupled to the motor drive by lowering the shaft 16, whereupon it is rotated very quickly. In this case, the blades 31 convey through underfiring the liquor obtained while boiling into the bore 33, from which the liquor emerges over the entire circumference and is forced through the laundry by the centrifugal force.
The liquor emerging from the perforated jacket wall of the centrifugal drum is poured onto the side wall of the container 10, where it flows down, whereupon it is sucked in again by the blades 31 and driven into the interior of the centrifugal drum. The lye thus carries out a cycle that is repeated as often as desired. At the end of the washing process, the lye is drained from the container and replaced several times with fresh, warm and cold water so that the laundry is rinsed vigorously. In this rinsing process, the laundry is dried by spinning out the water it contains when the container is emptied of water.
To remove the laundry from the spin drum, the shaft 16 is expediently screwed out of the spin drum hub and then lifted so far that the container 10 can be removed sideways under the corner 16. The pin 34 holds the centrifugal drum in the center of the container 10.
After introducing a new load of laundry into the spin drum and fresh lye in the airer 10, the latter is placed back on the 1-earth, the shaft 16 is lowered and finally coupled to the spin drum, whereupon the previously described process is repeated again.
