Die -abhveie Einsehaltung von Bürstensatz und Ventilator wird durch die beiden auf der JTotorwelle 31 1ä ngsversehieblichen, jedoch ;
Vacuum cleaner and drum bottom brush machine. The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner and floor brush machine with a front roller brush and two disc brushes with respect to the direction of movement of the arbei border machine, which are driven by an overlying motor that simultaneously drives the fan for the vacuum cleaner on its upper shaft stumble.
According to the invention, brushes are attached behind the vertical with respect to the movement direction of the working machine, the whole thing in such a way that the machine rests exclusively on the brushes during work.
In the drawing is an example: @ embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in Fig. 1 in longitudinal section, in Fig. 2 in cross section through the brush drive is provided.
The brush set arranged in a known manner on the front part of the housing 1 ″, that is to say on one side of the vertical center of gravity of the entire machine, consists here of the roughing brush 3 rotating around a true-to-scale shaft 2 and of the brushes around the vertical shafts 4 revolving disk brushes 5, which are driven jointly by a shaft 6 which drives the vertical shafts 4 by means of the screw wheels 7 and the roller brush by means of the chain wheel 8.
On the opposite side of the vertical center of gravity of the entire machine, a brush roller 9 similar to the pre-brush roller 3 is arranged, the drive of which is carried out in a similar manner by a chain wheel 10 located at the other end of the shaft 6. When the running wheels are lifted, the entire weight of the machine rests exclusively on the brushes, which significantly increase their effectiveness.
To run the machine over carpets, steps or the like, a set of wheels consisting of the three wheels 11, 12 and, 12 'is arranged, which is inevitably height adjustable by suitable lever connection and can be placed on the ground by tilting the guide rod 13 . while it is automatically drawn up by spring action when the guide rod is pivoted back.
The guide rod 13 can be rotated about a pin 14 fixed in the geliuse and presses with: its free end 15 on a curved fork-shaped articulated lever 16 which can be rotated about the fixed pin 17 and the two wheels 1? and 12 carries, while it runs out beyond its pivot point at 18 into a pin which engages in a Noeke 19,
which adjusts the height adjustment of the wheel 11 in the housing: 1 "depending on the position of the articulated lever 16. The running wheels are permanently pulled from the floor by a spring 20, whereby the contact pressure of the brushes on the floor can be increased by the guide rod 13 is pressed against the elastic buffer 91, which limits its rotational movement, whereby a torque is ent,
that presses the whole device against the floor. A similar buffer 22 delimits the rotational movement of the guide rod to the other side. The previously known arrangement of the brushes only on one side of the vertical center of gravity had the disadvantage that only part of the weight of the entire device rested on the brushes, which therefore only exerted relatively little pressure on the floor.
In addition, the impeller behind it left a trail on the already smoothed floor, which could only be blurred by treating the floor afterwards.
To drive the brush shafts, a motor 30 with a vertical shaft 31 is arranged in such a way that the clutches 32 and 33 arranged on the stub shafts either drive the brushes or the one on a hollow shaft 34 wedged impellers 35 of a fan 36 made possible union, with the dust sucked in with the air enters the dust bag 39 through a suction piece 37 and the hose 38, while the air enters the fan through the bag and corresponding openings 40 in the housing, which, for example, as a turbo compressor, supplies the air to the engine below as cooling air.
Internal brushes are driven by a worm wheel 11 seated on the shaft 6 and a worm 42 on the motor shaft 31. One coupling half of the coupling: 32 coupled to rotate with the motor shaft 31 and longitudinally displaceable by means of an adjusting bracket 43, while the second coupling half of the coupling 32 arranged on the worm 42 freely rotates around the shaft 31.
The known drive of the two gloss brushes 5 by means of a chain has the disadvantage that because of the small tension arc, the wear on the chain wheels is very great and, moreover, the noise is considerably increased as a result. In addition, the two brushes are driven in the same direction of rotation, resulting in a deflection of the entire machine during brushing, which makes steering difficult.
The two vertical polishing brush shafts 4 are therefore driven by means of the two helical gears 7, which are rigidly connected to the worm wheel 41 via the shaft 6 and have opposite directions of wind of the driving spiral teeth. Through the rotation of the two helical gears i in the same. Direction of rotation device with different directions of winding of the screw teeth, the two shafts 4 are driven in opposite directions of rotation.
Due to the arrangement of these cylindrical screw cattle, the drive is uniform from the screw 42? for all brushes and on the one hand the manufacture of the machine and its structure is simplified and on the other hand the operation of the same is almost noiseless and, moreover, the opposite direction of rotation of the two glossy brushes is achieved in the simplest way, the shaft arrangement of which can be either centric or eccentric in a known manner.
-The housing 1 closes the entire device including the drive for the brushes completely tight, so that on the one hand the entry of dust and thus contamination of the gearbox and the motor is avoided and on the other hand the grease required for lubrication does not get on the floor can drain.
The -dependence of the brush set and fan is caused by the two on the motor shaft 31, but;
The rotation of the coupled coupling halves 32 and 33 has the effect that the adjusting bracket 1-3 at both ends engages in the form of a fork in the grooves of the coupling halves and can be brought into the three positions a, b, c by means of the button 44, Nvobei in the motor is connected to the fan in position a, idle in position b and connected to the brush drive in position c.
The tooth shape of the coupling is selected in such a way that the brushes can only be driven in one direction of rotation of the motor.
