Device for filling gasoline or other liquids from barrels, etc. The present invention relates to a device for filling gasoline or other liquids from barrels, etc. by means of compressed air. The same allows the use of an air pump, as it is used to inflate the pneumatic tires (tires) of vehicles, to introduce the compressed air required for the promotion. This is of great advantage, in particular, for gasoline consumption in motor vehicles, in that such a pump, which is always at hand, enables immediate readiness for operation and thus gasoline consumption everywhere in a simple manner, so to speak.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown. 1 and 2 show two mutually perpendicular vertical sections of such a device, which is used in particular for filling gasoline from barrels into the reservoir of a motor vehicle Attachment 10, which by means of a flange 1 with handle 2 and a clamping piece 7 provided with lugs 8, into which it is removably screwed, is detachably placed on the bunghole 26 of a barrel. Through the central bore 20 of the set 10, the discharge pipe 21 is passed with play, which has a tap 22 at the top and is held and sealed by means of stuffing box 23 and union nut 25.
The attachment 10 has a nozzle 13 which holds the compressed air inlet channel 19 ent, which opens into the central bore 20. In this nozzle 13 a Ge threaded piece 14 is used, which contains a valve 15 with valve cone 16 and mouthpiece 17, as is common on the pneumatic tires (tires, z. B. Michelin) of motor vehicles. Opposite the nozzle 13 is. a connection piece 18 arranged in which, if desired, a hole can be made and a safety valve can be used.
As a result of the described design of the mouthpiece 17, a pneumatic air pump can simply be connected to the same for filling in order to pump air into the inside of the barrel, whereby the gasoline is pushed out through the dispensing pipe.
Instead of the valve cone 16, a stopcock behind the mouthpiece could also be arranged in order to effect the closure to the outside.
The device can be removed from the barrel simply by unscrewing the attachment from flange 1 and clamping piece 7; after this unscrewing, the clamping piece 7 remains on the end of the bolts 6, so that it can be lifted out by tilting it and lifted away together with the flange 1.
The device for connecting the attachment to the barrel or another container could also be different from that shown.
