Device for releasably connecting the handle to the head of dusters, floor levelers and other applied floor cleaning and - k3 The present invention relates to a device for detachable connection of the handle to the head of dusters, floor levelers and other hand-held floor cleaning and smoothing devices,
in which a resilient gripping clip is provided on the handle and a connecting piece to be crossed by this is provided on the device head. The latter expediently consists of a bolt that is inserted into two bearing cheeks attached to the device head and is arranged so that it can be grasped by the gripping clamp of the handle. The gripping clamp can consist of two mutually resilient jaw cheeks which are bulged to accommodate the connecting bolt. If the device head is made of sheet metal, then the bearing cheeks for the connecting bolt can be formed by tabs punched out of the sheet metal and bent perpendicular to it.
In this case, it is advisable to reinforce the sheet metal piece of the device head located between the punching points, as well as the upward sheet metal tabs with a stiffening bracket. In all cases, the handle can be easily and quickly replaced if it breaks. It can also be transferred from one cleaning device to the other with the same ease.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment from the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 shows in perspective presen- tation a dust wiper provided with this; Figure 2 is a vertical section through the connecting device; Fig. 3 is a section perpendicular to Fig. 2; Fig. 4 shows a detail.
The handle a, which is reinforced at the lower end by a metal sleeve, d, is provided with a resilient gripping clip b, which consists of two wide, mutually resilient jaw trolleys and is inserted into a cutout or slot in the lower handle part. A transverse rivet c holds the gripping clamp b in the handle.
In the middle part of the sheet metal head e of the device, around which a mopping cloth is turned over in the usual way, two flaps are punched out and bent perpendicular to the sheet metal body to form two mutually parallel bearing cheeks f. The sheet metal piece of the head e lying between the punching points and the bearing cheeks f are reinforced in the best visible way from Fig. 3 by a stiffening bracket (shown in Fig. 4), the flat center piece g supports the mentioned sheet metal piece and its legs h support the bearing cheeks f .
The widths of the legs h are dimensioned so that they can be pushed through the punched openings. The bearing cheeks f and the bracket legs h. Serve a bolt i for storage, which is seen at one end with a head 7c and at the other end with a screw nut l. The handle a is with the gripping bracket b between the bearing cheeks f over the bolt i. pushed and held it; for better reaching over or grasping the bolt i, the jaw cheeks of Klam mer b are bulged in the manner shown in FIG.
The bracket b can be easily and quickly pushed over the bolt i. removed from it so that the handle can be changed quickly and easily:
