Method and device for the sockets of incandescent lamps, amplifier tubes and similar vacuum apparatus. In electric light bulbs, amplifiers tubes and similar vacuum apparatus, it is common to apply them to one or different voltages during the manufacturing process, for example to bring the luminous element to glow for the purpose of checking its nature or for performing chemical reactions or the like .
According to the invention, this necessary operation of the current load on the luminous element, the electrodes or the like, in a novel way only taken BEZW during the cementing of the base. combined with the cementing of the base, namely by bringing the contact points of the base into electrical connection with a power source during the heating that follows for the hardening of the coated putty,
so that the luminous body or the like chen during the cementing process to glow BEZW. the electrodes are energized. The entire manufacturing process for the vacuum apparatus is here significantly simplified and shortened.
The new method can be carried out by means of caps pushed over the base, heated by heating coils, which, according to the invention, have a contact plate in the base part which, with the cap wall isolated from it, is in a respectively to the current load of the luminous element. of the electrodes serving, circuit is located.
On .der drawing a part of an example device for performing the method is shown in section.
Div. Drawn device consists of a: the lamp base to be pushed metal cap a, which carries a heating coil b on its circumference, through which the cap is heated, and thereby the putty compound c freshly painted in the base ge to harden within a certain period of time becomes. A contact plate e is inserted into the bottom part of the cap ca with the interposition of insulation d.
When the base is included, the base plate Ir, which is connected to the one power supply line f of the luminous element g, of the base adjoins the contact plate e, while the base plate Ir connected to the other power supply line i. related edge k of the base on the side wall of the cap a rests. A powered by the battery l circuit is with one branch na to the contact plate e. and with the other branch connected to the side of the metal cap a.
It is thus bez, v # Y during the soekeln. During the setting of the base cement, which takes place through the heat of the heating coil b, it is possible to simply subject the luminous element g of the Ijampen to a current load, be it for control purposes or for other reasons, that the lamp is pressed firmly into the cap a, 1_-Is the ground contact comes into contact with the contact plate e.
Expediently, in the circuit fed by the battery 1. a signaling instrument or a relay, a bell or a special incandescent lamp is switched on, which during the work process reveals the behavior of the luminous element and any disturbances the arrangement or the like.
¯ The process can of course also be used with lamps or vacuum devices with a differently designed base. It is only necessary to ensure that the contact points of the base when inserted into the cap come into contact with power supply guide contacts that are connected to a circuit and isolated from one another.
