Process for the production of Glül11ampeu.
In the case of electric incandescent lamps, amplifier tubes and similar vacuum devices, it is customary to apply them to one or different voltages during the manufacturing process, for example to make the lamp glow in order to check its condition or to carry out chemical reactions or the like.
According to the invention, this necessary operation of the current load of the luminous element, the electrodes or the like is carried out in a novel manner only during the puttying of the base or combined with the puttying of the base, and the like. between the fact that the contact points of the base occur during the hardening of the coated putty
EMI1.1
spirals of heated caps are carried out, which according to the invention have a contact plate in the base part, which lies with the cap wall isolated from it in a circuit serving to load the luminous element.
In the drawing, part of an exemplary device for performing the method is shown in section.
The device consists of a metal cap a to be pushed over the lamp base, which carries a heating coil b on its circumference, which heats the cap and thereby causes the cement mass c freshly painted in the base to harden in a certain period of time. In the bottom part of the cap a, a contact plate e is inserted with the interposition of insulation d.
When the base is inserted, the base plate lu of the base, which is connected to one power supply line f of the luminous element g, rests on the contact plate e, while the edge k of the base, which is connected to the other power supply line i, abuts the side wall of the cap a.
EMI1.2
des Soekelns or during the setting of the base putty caused by the heat of the heating coil b, it is possible to subject the luminous element g of the lamps to a current load, either for control purposes or for other reasons, that the lamp is pressed firmly into the cap a until the ground contact comes into contact with the contact plate e.
A measuring or signaling instrument o, such as a relay, a bell or a special incandescent lamp, is expediently switched on in the circuit fed by the battery 1, which during the work process provides information about the behavior of the luminous element, about any faults in the arrangement or the like .
The process can of course also be used with lamps or vacuum devices with a differently designed base. It is only necessary to ensure that the contact points of the base come into contact with isolated power supply contacts when they are inserted into the cap.
