Lit pliant. L'objet de la présente invention est un lit pliant; il comporte un bâti dont la tête et le pied sont en au moins deux pièces, réunies par des charnières, pour en permettre le ra battement, et en ce que le lit peut être placé verticalement dans une armoire quand il n'est pas employé et est muni, à sa tête, de touril lons, engagés dans des pièces fixes prévues dans l'armoire, et sur lesquels pivote le lit quand il est .amené en position verticale.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

Le lit pliant selon ces figures comporte, comme tout lit, un bâti, présentant la tête a, le pied b et les deux flancs c, bâti sur lequel repose le sommier, matelas, coussins, etc. La tête du lit a est en deux pièces qui sont re liées par une charnière a', qui permet à la pièce supérieure de s,e replier sur les cous sins du lit, ainsi que cela est représenté à la fig. 3.
La pièce inférieure est munie sur ses deux côtés -d'un tourillon d, engagé chacun respectivement dans une plaque e fixée à la partie inférieure des parois latérales f1 et f2, d'une armoire f, dans laquelle le lit pliant peut être enfermé, quand on ne s'en sert pas. Un contrepoids g, fixé aux extrémités de planches g' et g2, disposées et fixées contre les flancs c du bâti du lit, contrebalance en partie le poids du lit et facilite son relève ment, quand on veut le ranger dans l'ar moire.
Le pied -du lit b est en deux pièces également, pièces qui sont reliées par une charnière b1 qui permet à la partie inférieure de se rabattre parallèlement baux flancs c, ainsi que cela est représenté à la, fig. 3. Des pièces b2 b3 montées à charnières sur les flancs c permettent d'immobiliser cette partie inférieure du pied du lit b, quand le lit doit être utilisé et est dans la position .dans la quelle il est représenté à la fig. 1.
Pour opé rer le rabattement de .cette partie inférieure du pied du lit b, quand on veut mettre le- lit dans l'armoire, il suffit de rabattre tout,d'a- bord les pièces b' et V contre la. face infé rieure du sommier, après quoi ladite partie inférieure peut être amenée dans la position dans laquelle elle est représentée à la fig. 3.
.Des poignées lz, fixées au pied du lit et con tre les faces intérieures des flancs c, permet tent la manceuvre du lit, qui est muni en ou tre clé deux saxigles i, fixées aux flancs c et sont .destinées à être bouclées autour du lit fait, ainsi que cela est représenté à la fig. 3.
L'armoire f dans laquelle le lit pliant peut être enfermé est ouverte à ses deux ex trémités inférieure et supérieure; elle lie pré sente, pas de fond non plus, ainsi qu'on peut le voir à la fig. 3, d e façon à permettre à l'air d'y circuler quand le lit y -est enfermé. Elle présente deux portes k et<B>P</B><I>,</I> qui sont pourvues toutes deux d'un rayon<I>l l'</I> respec tivement, rayons sur lesquels la personne se servant du lit, peut poser les objets qu'elle veut avoir à disposition.
La position des plaques e, dans lesquelles sont engagés les tourillons d sur lesquels pi vote le lit, sur les parois latérales<I>f'</I> et f' de l'armoire f, place le lit dans une position telle due la tête de la personne qui y couche lie soit pas, engagée plus ou moins dans l'ar moire, ce qui serait contraire à l'hygiène.
En cas de déménagement, on peut, en clé gageant les tourillons d des plaques e, sépa rer complètement le lit de l'armoire et, en détachant en outre le contrepoids g, fixé de manière amovible sur les planches g' et c1', rendre le transport cru lit pliant très facile.
Le lit pliant qui fait l'objet de l'inven tion, peut être fait à une ou deux places, les formes de son bâti ainsi que celles de l'ar moire dans laquelle il peut être disposé pour ront différer de ce qu'elles sont représentées au dessin.
Folding bed. The folding bed according to these figures comprises, like any bed, a frame, having the head a, the foot b and the two sides c, frame on which rests the box spring, mattress, cushions, etc. The head of the bed a is in two parts which are connected by a hinge a ', which allows the upper part to be folded over the pillows of the bed, as shown in fig. 3.
The lower part is provided on its two sides -a journal d, each engaged respectively in a plate e fixed to the lower part of the side walls f1 and f2, with a cabinet f, in which the folding bed can be enclosed, when not in use. A counterweight g, fixed to the ends of boards g 'and g2, arranged and fixed against the sides c of the frame of the bed, partly counterbalances the weight of the bed and facilitates its lifting, when it is desired to be stored in the cupboard.
The foot of the bed b is also in two parts, parts which are connected by a hinge b1 which allows the lower part to fold down parallel to the sides c, as is shown in, fig. 3. Parts b2 b3 hinged on the sides c make it possible to immobilize this lower part of the foot of the bed b, when the bed is to be used and is in the position in which it is shown in fig. 1.
To operate the folding of this lower part of the foot of the bed b, when you want to put the bed in the wardrobe, it suffices to fold everything, first parts b 'and V against the. lower face of the bed base, after which said lower part can be brought into the position in which it is shown in FIG. 3.
.Handles lz, attached to the foot of the bed and against the inner faces of the sides c, allow the bed to be maneuvered, which is provided with two keys i, fixed to the sides c and are intended to be looped around of the made bed, as shown in fig. 3.
The cabinet f in which the folding bed can be enclosed is open at both its lower and upper extremities; it binds present, no background either, as can be seen in fig. 3, so as to allow air to circulate therein when the bed is enclosed therein. It has two doors k and <B> P </B> <I>, </I> which are both provided with a radius <I> l '</I> respectively, rays on which the person stands. serving as the bed, can put down the objects she wants to have available.
The position of the plates e, in which are engaged the journals d on which pi votes the bed, on the side walls <I> f '</I> and f' of the cabinet f, places the bed in such a position due the head of the person who sleeps there is not, more or less engaged in the cupboard, which would be contrary to hygiene.
In the event of a move, it is possible, by wrenching the pins d of the plates e, to completely separate the bed from the cabinet and, in addition, by detaching the counterweight g, which is removably attached to the boards g 'and c1', make transporting vintage folding bed very easy.
