  Holzschraube.    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine  Holzschraube mit     Versenkkopff    welcher mit  einem Schneidwerk ausgestattet ist, das beim  Einführen der Schraube- in das Holz aus  diesem eine Vertiefung herausarbeitet, in die  der Schraubenkopf zu liegen kommt.  



  Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein  Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstan  des dargestellt und zwar zeigt:       Fig.    1 eine Längsansicht desselben,       Fig.    2 eine Endansicht von der Spitze  des Schraubenbolzens her gesehen;       Fig.    3 einen Schnitt durch den Schrauben  kopf nach der Linie     A-A    der     Fig.    1.  



  a bezeichnet einen Schraubenschaft mit  dem     Versenkkopf        b.    Dieser besitzt auf der  in die Versenkung einzuführenden untern  Seite vier vom Schraubenschaft aus nach  aussen gehende Nuten c. Die eine Kante  einer jeden Nute ist leicht erhöht und als  Schneide d ausgebildet.     Mittelst    den Schneiden  d wird beim Einführen der Schraube in das  Holz aus diesem eine Versenkung herausge  arbeitet, in welche der Schraubenkopf     b    zu  liegen kommt. Die Schneiden d reichen nicht  ganz bis an den Umfang des Schraubenkopfes  b heran. Damit wird bezweckt, dass die vom    Schneidwerk ausgefräste =Vertiefung nicht zu  gross ausfällt.



  Wood screw. The subject of the present invention is a wood screw with a countersunk head which is equipped with a cutting mechanism which, when the screw is inserted into the wood, creates a recess in which the screw head comes to rest.

  a denotes a screw shaft with countersunk head b. This has on the lower side to be inserted into the countersink four grooves c extending outwards from the screw shaft. One edge of each groove is slightly raised and designed as a cutting edge d. By means of the cutting edges d, when the screw is inserted into the wood, a countersink is made out of this, in which the screw head b comes to rest. The cutting edges d do not quite reach the circumference of the screw head b. The purpose of this is to ensure that the recess milled out by the cutting unit is not too large.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Wood screw with countersunk head, characterized in that the latter is equipped with a cutting mechanism which, when the screw is inserted into the wood, works out a recess for receiving the screw head from this. SUBClaims 1. Wood screw according to patent claim, characterized in that the countersunk head has grooves extending outwards from the screw shaft, one edge of which is raised and designed as a cutting edge. 2. Wood screw according to claim and dependent claim 1, characterized in that the cutting edges do not reach all the way up to the circumference of the screw head, which prevents excessive milling of the United countersink.
