Appareil de chauffage et de séchage pour l'obtention d'impressions en relief sur feuilles de papier, cartons etc. La présente invention concerne un appa reil de chauffage et de séchage pour l'obten tion d'impressions en relief sur feuilles de papiers, cartons etc. Cet appareil est établi dans le but de permettre un chauffage uni forme et, par conséquent, un séchage régulier des deux côtés de la. feuille à chauffer en vue de terminer l'impression, cette feuille ayant été par exemple, munie d'une impression à l'encre ordinaire. ou autre et soupoudrée d'une poudre de n'importe quelle couleur, une pou dre d'argent ou d'or qui, par le chauffage entre nn fusion avec l'encre en formant ainsi une impression en relief.
Le but de l'appa reil est d'empêcher la feuille de se tordre par la chaleur. A cet effet, l'appareil est muni de deux organes de chauffage disposés au-dessous et au-dessus d'un distributeur de chaleur sur lequel passe un tapis roulant qui transporte les feuilles à travers l'appareil.
Au dessin annexé, qui montre, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'in vention: La fig. 1 est une vue latérale de l'appa reil; La fig. 2 est une coupe longitudinale; La fig. 3 est une vue en plan, et La fig. 4 une coupe transversale. L'appareil représenté se .compose d'une chambre inférieure 1 et d'une chambre supé rieure 2. Dans la chambre inférieure sont disposés deux rouleaux 3 sur lesquels passe un tapis roulant 4 qui sert à transporter les feuilles 5 à travers l'appareil.
Entre les deux rouleaux est disposé un distributeur métallique de chaleur composé d'un plateau 6 ayant à sa partie inférieure des nervures en ,croix de Lorraine 7 ou de toute autre forme appropriée. Le tapis rou lant passe sur la partie supérieure lisse du distributeur.
Au-dessous du distributeur est disposé un élément de chauffage 8, un second élément de chauffage 9 est disposé dans la chambre supérieure.
Les -axes des deux rouleaux 3 sont munis à l'extérieur de l'appareil de pignons à chaîne 10 reliés par une chaîne 11, qui passe encore sur deux autres pignons 12 et 13 servant à soutenir la .chaîne. Les rouleaux peuvent être actionnés à la main, par une roue à chaîne 14 ou par un moteur quelconque.
A l'une des extrémités de l'appareil est articulé un plateau 15 qui peut être incliné suivant le besoin par une tige 16 ayant une fente, par laquelle passe une vis de pression. Un deuxième plateau 17 est articulé à l'au tre extrémité de l'appareil.
En tournant les deux rouleaux, soit à la main, soit par un moteur, les feuilles sont enlevées par le tapis roulant et transportées à travers la chambre inférieure pour être po sées sur le plateau 17.
Le distributeur a pour but de répandre la chaleur régulièrement dans toutes les par ties de l'appareil en assurant ainsi un chauf fage régulier des feuilles passant par l'ap pareil.
L'appareil est avantageusement disposé sur des socles en matière réfractaire. Les détails de l'invention peuvent être modifiés sans sortir du cadre du brevet. Paz exemple, on pourrait disposer un double dis tributeur au lieu d'un simple etc.

The purpose of the appliance is to prevent the sheet from twisting by heat. For this purpose, the apparatus is provided with two heating elements arranged below and above a heat distributor on which passes a conveyor belt which transports the sheets through the apparatus.
In the accompanying drawing, which shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention: FIG. 1 is a side view of the apparatus; Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section; Fig. 3 is a plan view, and FIG. 4 a cross section. The apparatus shown consists of a lower chamber 1 and an upper chamber 2. In the lower chamber are arranged two rollers 3 on which a conveyor belt 4 passes which serves to transport the sheets 5 through the apparatus. .
Between the two rollers is disposed a metal heat distributor composed of a plate 6 having at its lower part ribs, Lorraine cross 7 or any other suitable shape. The conveyor belt passes over the smooth upper part of the distributor.
Below the distributor is arranged a heating element 8, a second heating element 9 is arranged in the upper chamber.
The -axes of the two rollers 3 are provided on the outside of the apparatus with chain sprockets 10 connected by a chain 11, which also passes over two other sprockets 12 and 13 serving to support the chain. The rollers can be operated by hand, by a chain wheel 14, or by any motor.
At one end of the apparatus is articulated a plate 15 which can be inclined as required by a rod 16 having a slot, through which a set screw passes. A second plate 17 is articulated at the other end of the device.
By turning the two rollers, either by hand or by a motor, the sheets are removed by the conveyor belt and transported through the lower chamber to be loaded onto the platen 17.
The purpose of the distributor is to spread the heat evenly in all parts of the appliance, thus ensuring regular heating of the sheets passing through the appliance.
The apparatus is advantageously placed on bases made of refractory material. The details of the invention can be modified without departing from the scope of the patent. For example, we could have a double distributor instead of a single etc.
