Oil atomizer that works with steam for furnaces. The present invention relates to an oil atomizer which works with steam and which is intended to use a mixture of oil and steam instead of solid fuels in new systems which have to develop high levels of heat, such as baking, drying or drying ovens! to deliver.
The attached drawing shows a schematic representation of an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
The atomizer has a cylindrical small steam boiler a with a capacity of about 10 liters of water. The water can be filled in by hand by means of the funnel k or by connecting the water line i to the connection piece h. Passes through the nozzle g and the valve e operated by the float f (reads water c into the boiler room d, where it is made to evaporate.
This evaporation is achieved during start-up in that the water is brought to the boil by placing a vessel with gasoline or some other fuel, by heating the boiler using a gas pipe or by installing electrical resistors.
The steam developed in the boiler is led through the line in to the mixing nozzle p; If the overpressure is too high, it escapes through the safety valve 1. In the mixing nozzle installed in the flame tube q, which also serves as an atomizer, the steam is combined with the oils coming from the oil line r. At the outlet of the atomizer nozzle, the mixture of oil and steam is ignited and thrown into the room to be heated as a regulatable flame by the pressure of the latter.
From the moment the steam and oil mixture ignites, the flame that is generated continues to heat the boiler, so that it always develops steam automatically and the above-mentioned heating devices can be switched off. The heating is now in progress.
On the front of the apparatus there are the regulating cocks for steam and oil, - a pressure gauge, a water level glass, drain cocks and the safety valve 1, which is activated when the required
