Description

Rotating brush. The present invention is a bare to a water pressure line brush, with provided openings in the brush body through which the What water can escape. The brush can be used in particular for cleaning motor vehicles of all kinds, but then also for cleaning barrels etc.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in example embodiment, namely Fig. 1 shows a section along the line A-B of Fig. 2; Fig. 2 shows the brush with the bristle carrier lifted off.

The brush shown has a housing 1 which is provided with a connector 2 to be connected to a water pressure line. The housing 1 has a cylindrical interior 3 in which a turbine wheel 4 is rotatably arranged. The wheel 4 is rotatably mounted in a cover 5 of the housing 1, namely by means of a hollow socket 6. On the socket 6 sits a ring 7, in wel chem bristle bundles 8 are attached. Furthermore, the turbine wheel 4 has radial bores 11 which are too open after the connecting piece 6. The connection piece 2 has a bore 9 which is used to feed the pressurized water and which is directed tan gential to the turbine wheel 4. Outside the ring 7, a second ring 10 provided with bundles of bristles is attached to the housing.

The pressurized water supplied through the nozzle 2 enters the space 3 through the bore 9 and drives the turbine wheel 4, the water exiting through the radial bores 11 in the nozzle 6 and through this between the bristles 8. The ring 7 with the bristles 8 rotates at high speeds, while the bristles of the ring 10 stand still, and prevent the splashing of the water to the outside.

Other brushes, for example conical brushes, can be screwed onto the nozzle 6.
