Bettsofa. Vorliegende Erfindung hat ein Bettsofa. zum Gegenstand, dessen Eigenart darin liegt, dass es eine quer zum Sofa verstellbare Rücken lehne aufweist, -am die Liege- bezw. Sitz fläche des Möbels in der Breite verändern zu können.
Bezweckt wird, die Umwandelbarkeit des Möbels in seine zwei Zweckbestimmungen im Vergleich zu bisherigen bezüglichen Aus führungen auf sehr einfache Art zu ermög lichen.
Der Erfindbngsgegenstand ist auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung in einer beispielswei sen Ausführungsform dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt denselben im Aufriss mit Querschnitt; Fig. 2 ist eine Rückansicht desselben in kleinerem Massstab, und \ Fig. 3 eine Vorderansicht, wobei ein Ver- leckstück im Unterteil des Rahmengestelles des Möbels nur zum Teil dargestellt ist.
Das gezeichnete Möbel hat zwei Arm lehnen 1., die in bekannter Weise am Rah men 2 umleghar sind und gfwünschtenfalls aus demselben herausgehoben werden können. Die Rückenlehne 2 wird von zwei Kur beln 4 getragen, die ihre Drehachse in je einem am Sofagestell 2 befestigten Lager 5 haben.
Nach Fig. 1 befindet sich die Rücken lehne 3 innerhalb der Grundfläche des Rah mengestelles 2, das heisst in derjenigen Lage, in welcher das Möbel als Sofa dienen soll. Dieses Sofa hat eine in ihrer Breite bezw. in ihrer Grösse normale Sitzfläche.
Zwecks Umwandlung des Möbels in ein Bett legt man dessen eine Armlehne um (Fig. 3) und bewegt alsdann die Rücken lehne vorerst in Richtung gegen diese Arm lehne und, unter Beschreibung eines Halb kreises mit den exzentrischen Armen der Kur beln 4, schliesslich so weit nach hinten, dass sie: in die in Fig. 1 strichpunktiert gezeich nete äusserste Lage kommt. Nunmehr ist .die ganze Grundfläche des Rahmengestelles ver fügbar, und es kann auf letzteres, beziehungs weise auf dessen Federpolsterung 6, eine in der Grösse entsprechende Obermatratze 7 auf gelegt werden, wie in Fig. 3 strichpunktiert angedeutet ist.
Die Obermatratze 7 wird bei Nicht gebrauch im Unterteil des Rahmengestelles 2versorgt, zu welchem Zwecke letzteres mit einem Tragrost 8 versehen ist. Dieser liegt an den Kopfenden des Möbels in einer Füh rung 9 und lässt sich auf der Vorderseite des 14löbels ausziehen, so dass die Ober matratze 7 behufs Benutzung bequem ent- nommen und nachher wieder bequem auf den Trabrost aufgelegt und versorgt werden kann.
Der in das Rahmengestell eingeschobene Tragrost 8 und die auf diesem aufgelegte Obermatratze sind auf der Vorderseite des Möbels durch ein frei lierabliiingendes Ver- dcchst:ücl@ 10 verdeckt.

In order to convert the furniture into a bed, one of the armrests is put down (Fig. 3) and then the backrest is moved first in the direction against this armrest and finally so far, describing a semicircle with the eccentric arms of the crankshaft 4 to the rear that it: comes into the outermost position shown in phantom in Fig. 1. When not in use, the upper mattress 7 is supplied in the lower part of the frame 2, for which purpose the latter is provided with a support grid 8. This lies at the head of the furniture in a guide 9 and can be pulled out on the front of the lever so that the top mattress 7 can be conveniently removed for use and then comfortably placed on the trestle and taken care of again.
The support grid 8 pushed into the frame and the top mattress placed on it are covered on the front of the furniture by a freely movable cover.
