In ein Ruhebett verwandelbares Sitz- oder Liegemöbel mit umlegbarer Rückenlehne Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitz- oder Liegemöbel (Sessel, Sofa od. dgl.), das durch Umlegen seiner Rückenlehne in die waagerechte Lage in ein Ruhebett umwandelbar ist. Verwandlungsmöbel dieser Art sind in verschiedenen Ausführungen schon bekannt. Die Einrichtung zum Umlegen der Rückenlehne ist bei den bekannten Verwandlungsmöbeln sehr unvollkommen gelöst. Vor allem ist ihre Handhabung umständlich, was besonders von den Hausfrauen sehr unangenehm empfunden wird. Das Umklappen der Rückenlehne in die waagerechte Lage ist nur durch entsprechendes Vorziehen des Sitzposters möglich. Gemäß der Erfindung wird nun eine Verwandlungseinrichtung für Sitz- und Liegemöbel geschaffen, die in ihrer Handhabung äußerst einfach und leicht ist, indem die Umwandlung des Möbels von der einen Gebrauchsart in die andere mit einem einzigen Handgriff lediglich durch bequemes Umklappen der Rückenlehne vor sich geht, wobei die Rückenlehne zum Sitzpolster stets die richtige Lage einnimmt. Die Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß der Klappmechanismus für die Rückenlehne mit dem Sitzpolster bzw. der Sitzmatratze gekuppelt ist, so daß letztere beim Umlegen der Rückenlehne zwangsläufig derart gesteuert wird, daß beide Teile in der Endstellung selbsttätig stets die richtige Lage zueinander einnehmen. Beim Umlegen der Rückenlehne in die waagerechte Lage kommt diese mit dem Sitzpolster bzw. mit der Sitzmatratze in gleiche Ebene zu liegen, so daß man ein glatt durchgehendes Matratzenlager erhält, ohne daß irgendein zusätzlicher Handgriff hierfür notwendig ist.
