Der Brennstoffbehälter <I>A</I> ist als selbstständiges Organ ausgebildet.
Burner for solid fuels, in particular for Iletaldehyde pellets for Itochzweckeno The subject matter of the present invention relates to a burner for solid fuels, in particular for Metaldehyde pellets for cooking purposes.
It mainly consists of a vestibule and a so-called gasification burner, which two elements are combined with one another in such a way that the wind can be used to maintain a flame that becomes more intense with the strength of the wind. The cooking device is therefore advantageous for tourist purposes, because it can be operated even in strong winds.
A few explanations about the principle of the so-called gasification burner, your most important element of the new cooking device, are given here. The issue here is the fuel, e.g. B. to bring a metal dehydrated compact to gasification in a suitable burner and to maintain this gasification. This is achieved by igniting the fuel, for example a metaldehyde presslirig, under a gasification hood.
The hood fills up after some time with the gasification product, for example metal hydrogen vapor, which appears as a flame at the mouthpiece of the hood. If air is now passed from the outside over the fuel under the hood, it burns in the gasification product, for example in Metaldehyddarnpf, and delivers an inverted flame that gasifies the fuel, z. B. of the metalde- hyd pellet is maintained.
The gasification of the fuel and the size of the flame at the mouthpiece therefore depends on the amount of air supplied from outside under the gasification hood.
In order to regulate the air entering from the outside and intended for the gasification of the fuel under the hood, the gasification burner is combined with a vestibule in such a way that the air flow coming from outside is caught in it and diverted under the hood. The strongest air flow is broken in this way and made usable for gasification. The essence of the invention consists in the combination of a gasification burner, the principle of which is described above, with a vestibule, for the purpose of making even the most violent air currents for the gasification of the fuel, z.
B. the metaldehyde pressed, and for the achievement of a calm and evenly burning flame.
The accompanying drawing shows four exemplary embodiments of the subject invention with the common characteristic: A burner for solid fuels, eg. B. 3l:
Etaldehyde pellets, characterized by a wind trap, the upper end of which is perforated along the periphery, and which leaves space in the middle for a gasification burner, which consists of a fuel support and a hood with a flame nozzle arranged above it, the whole is arranged in such a way that there?)
the air flow entering the vestibule is partly diverted through the holes on the periphery of the upper end under the hood of the gasification burner and burns there in the metal hydrogen vapor to form an inverted flame.
Fig. 1 shows a simple embodiment of the new cooking device. C denotes the vestibule, F whose opening for the air enters, G the holes in its upper end and A. the fuel container in the middle of the upper end for holding the fuel II. @T denotes the one enclosed by the hood h Gassing chamber and 141 the flame mouthpiece of the hood.
The hood Ii is arranged over the upper end of the vestibule that it covers a row of the holes G. The air flow that enters the porch C through the opening F is partly diverted into the gasification chamber J by the holes G under the hood.
The apparatus is put into operation as follows: The metaldehyde pellet II lying in) fuel container <B> A </B> is ignited, the gasification chamber J fills with metalaldehyde vapors, and at the mouthpiece 1'lI of the hood II the flame appears. There is a strong pull upwards in the gasification chamber, which facilitates the entry of the air caught in the wind through the holes G under the hood.
The air entering under the hood is partly entrained with the metal vapors to the flatnnierriurid piece and there forms with the metaldehyde dane an excellently combustible (-'xasgemiscli. Another part of the air entering under the hood burns in the metaldehyde vapor with an inverter flame and maintains the gasification of the metaldehyde compact, depending on the strength of the air flow, this gasification is larger or smaller.
2 shows a further embodiment of the cooking device. The upper end of the vestibule C is formed here by the perforated bottom of a windbreak I3. The fuel container <I> A </I> is designed as an independent organ.
The hood h is attached exactly over the fuel container. The fuel tank and hood are provided with side openings that are at the same height so that these openings can be closed or opened by turning the hood. The apparatus is operated as follows: The ethaldehyde = Pi-el @ ling H in the fuel tank <B> 1 </B> is ignited.
The gasification chamber .T fills with lIetaldehyddainpf, and the flame appears at the flame mouthpiece 14j of the hood I%. The air caught by the porch C is diverted through the holes G to your Flainmenrauin D.
Due to the draft in the gasification chamber .T, however, part of this air entering the flame chamber D is sucked through the holes N in the hood and the fuel container into the gasification chamber J, where it burns in the acetaldelium vapor with the reverse flame and maintains the gasification of the metalaldehyde.
In Fig. 3, the hood Ii is surrounded by a jacket L, which covers part of the holes G of the bottom 1: of the windbreak D so that part of the air deflected through the holes G to the flame chamber D is caught in the jacket L. , and is sucked from Trier through the openings <B> IN '</B> of the hood and the fuel container into the gasification chamber T.
In Fig. 4, finally, the jacket L surrounding the hood is extended to the flame mouth, tüul.z J1 of the hood. The air entering the jacket L is partly diverted through the openings N of the hood and the fuel tank into the gasification chamber <T, but partly directed to the flame nipple hl,
to achieve a highly flammable metaldehyde vapor / air mixture.
In all of the exemplary embodiments, part of the air entering the vestibule G is guided through holes G into the flame space D and is used there to maintain the flame. The various openings at the top of the vestibule, on the bottom of the draft shield, on the hood and on the fuel container can be regulated depending on the air supply to be regulated.
The hood can be removed with a handle. The height of the fuel support and hood can be regulated, and the fuel support can also be turned out of the cooking device by means of a suitable turning device for the purpose of refilling fuel or for extinguishing it.
