Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour améliorer les propriétés de protection d'une couche protectrice dans une couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche protectrice, comprenant les étapes suivantes : la fourniture d'une couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche d'une composition de protection aqueuse appliquée à celle-ci; puis de séchage de la couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche de composition de protection appliquée sur celle-ci pour former une couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche protectrice, de telle sorte que la teneur en humidité de la couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche protectrice est inférieure à 2,5 % en poids, de préférence inférieure à 2 % en poids, sur la base du poids de la couche de substrat à base de pâte à papier doté d'une couche protectrice.
