Abstract
Un rail (1) comprend une section de patin, une section d'âme (3) et une section de champignon (4). La composition en constituants de la section d'âme (3) comprend : C : 0,70 à 1,20 % en poids, Si : 0,20 à 1,20 % en poids, Mn : 0,20 à 1,50 % en poids, P : 0,035 % en poids ou moins, et Cr : 0,20 à 2,50 % en poids, le reste comprenant du Fe et les inévitables impuretés. Le rapport de surface de la perlite dans la section d'âme (3) est supérieur ou égal à 95 %, et la taille moyenne des blocs de perlite est inférieure ou égale à 60 µm.
