Abstract

Un système de forage de l'invention comprend un ensemble train de tiges de forage comportant des entrées de sous-système qui commandent le ROP et d'autres paramètres de performance ; et un système de traitement qui réalise l'atténuation d'incertitude automatisée d'un modèle pour commander les entrées de sous-système. L'ensemble train de tiges de forage peut comprendre un sous-système de BHA et un train de tiges de forage qui relie le BHA à un sous-système d'appareil de forage et à un sous-système de circulation de fluide. Le système de traitement fonctionne comme suit : obtenir un modèle de système de forage ayant des états d'interaction représentant la manière dont chaque entrée de sous-système influence le sous-système ; caractériser une incertitude pour chaque état d'interaction ; évaluer l'influence de chaque incertitude d'état d'interaction sur les paramètres de performance ; calculer un avantage net pour atténuer lesdites incertitudes de modèle ; atténuer automatiquement ladite ou lesdites incertitudes de modèle lorsque l'avantage net dépasse un seuil, ce qui améliore le modèle du système de forage ; et commander les entrées de sous-système en fonction du modèle.
