Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour fabriquer de manière économique et avec une fiabilité maîtrisée un produit plat en acier, ledit un acier présentant, outre une teneur élevée en Mn, une teneur élevée en Al. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : mise en fusion d'un acier pour obtenir un bain d'acier S contenant outre Fe et les inévitables impuretés, les éléments suivants (en % en poids) : 0,5 - 1,3 % de C, 18 - 26 % de Mn, 5,9 - 11,5 % d'Al, < 1 % de Si, < 8 % de Cr, < 3 % de Ni, < 2 % de Mo, < 0,1 de N, < 0,1 % de B, < 5 % de Cu, < 1 % de Nb, < 1 % de Ti, < 1 % de V, < 0,05 % de Ca, < 0,1 % de Zr, < 0,04 % de P, < 0,04 % de S; coulée du bain d'acier en une bande coulée; réchauffement de la bande coulée à une vitesse de mise en température d'au moins 20 K/s à une température de début de laminage à chaud de 1100 à 1300 °C; laminage à chaud de la bande coulée réchauffée à la température de début de laminage à chaud pour obtenir un feuillard à chaud; refroidissement du feuillard à chaud dans un laps de temps de 10 s après le laminage à chaud à une vitesse de refroidissement d'au moins 100 K/s à moins de 400°C; enroulement du feuillard à chaud refroidi en une bobine, la température de la bobineuse étant de 400°C au maximum.
