Abstract
L'invention concerne la synchronisation temporelle dans un système de communication sans fil comprenant l'émission d'une trame de synchronisation d'un émetteur vers un récepteur par le biais d'un support de communication sans fil. La trame de synchronisation contient une information d'horodatage indiquant l'heure locale de l'émetteur lorsqu'un symbole à une position prédéfinie de la trame de synchronisation est placé sur le support de communication sans fil en vue de l'émission. La trame de synchronisation est reçue au niveau du récepteur qui détermine une heure de réception comprenant l'heure locale du récepteur lorsque ledit symbole de la trame de synchronisation a été reçu au niveau de la couche physique du récepteur. La synchronisation temporelle est effectuée en déterminant une différence entre ladite information d'horodatage et ladite heure de réception et en ajustant l'heure locale du récepteur en se basant sur ladite différence pour synchroniser dans le temps le récepteur avec l'émetteur.
