Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine d'emballage (10) qui permet d'emballer des articles (A) dans un carton (C) pour former un deuxième emballage, puis dans un troisième emballage. La machine d'emballage comprend un premier convoyeur (16; 116; 316), qui transporte les articles (A), couplé à un appareil de remplissage (11), un deuxième convoyeur (19), qui transporte des découpes de carton (B), monté au-dessus du premier convoyeur (16; 116; 316), un troisième convoyeur (30a, 30b; 130a, 130b; 330a, 330b) monté à proximité du premier convoyeur (16; 116; 316) dans une configuration de chevauchement partiel, un premier mécanisme de transfert (18) pour transférer les découpes de carton (B) sur le troisième convoyeur (30a, 30b; 130a, 130b; 330a, 330b), soit directement soit par l'intermédiaire d'un quatrième convoyeur (130c, 130d), les découpes de carton (B) étant partiellement assemblées sur le troisième convoyeur (30a, 30b; 130a, 130b; 330a, 330b), un deuxième mécanisme de transfert (24) pour venir en prise avec les articles (A) sur le premier convoyeur (16; 116; 316) et les placer dans les découpes de carton (B) assemblées pour former un deuxième emballage, un cinquième convoyeur (47; 147; 347), qui transporte les deuxièmes cartons (T), monté à proximité dudit troisième convoyeur (30a, 30b; 130a, 130b; 330a, 330b) dans une configuration de chevauchement partiel, et enfin, un troisième mécanisme de transfert (32) pour charger les deuxièmes emballages dans les deuxièmes cartons (T) et former ainsi les troisièmes emballages.
