Abstract

L'invention porte sur une composition lubrifiante contenant une huile de viscosité lubrifiante et un copolymère séquencé. Le copolymère séquencé peut contenir (a) une première séquence hydrophobe ayant des unités (alkyl en C1-30)(méth)acryliques, au moins 50 % en poids des unités (alkyl en C1-30)(méth)acryliques étant des unités (alkyl en C12-15)(méth)acryliques et jusqu'à 50 % en poids des unités (alkyl en C1-30)(méth)acryliques étant des unités (alkyl en C16-20)(méth)acryliques, à la condition que les groupes alkyles des unités (alkyl en C1-30)(méth)acryliques aient un nombre total moyen d'atomes de carbone d'au moins 8 ; et (b) une seconde séquence ayant des unités (méth)acryliques ayant en outre un groupe contenant un hétéroatome fournissant un groupe polaire. L'invention porte en outre sur un procédé de lubrification d'un moteur à combustion interne par lubrification du moteur avec la composition lubrifiante. L'invention porte en outre sur l'utilisation du copolymère séquencé comme émulsifiant et/ou agent abaissant le point d'écoulement.
