Description
UNDERBODY ELEMENT FOR SUPPORTING A SHOWER GROUND
ELEMENT
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a sub-component to underpin a preferably with a cover to be allocated shower floor element, said base element and shower-floor element outlet opening for the installation of a drain pan are provided with one.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Under shower floor elements are understood in this case in particular those which are to be installed at floor-level shower. Such shower floor elements will include the brand name "Fundo" (made by wedi GmbH, Emsdetten). The shower floor elements of a mosaic tile layer or layer and covered with masking. For square shower floor elements there is a drain hole for installation of a drainage pot in the middle, so the focus of the square. There is a corresponding gap using wastewater led the pot and drain off through.
Other designs are known, such as rectangular or circular shower base, which may be provided with appropriate devices. The drain openings other positions, different from the focal area of the shower-floor element are also introduced.
With the installation of showers with a shower-floor element is based on a building substrate, such as here under a concrete floor, a thin screed or the like is meant a substructure on, the mortar bed is made than usual. If foam plate shower floor panels with circular cutouts, the drain body in advance of the discharge opening brought in, not to the outer contour of the drain pot is matched exactly, however, so that the drain pan in its installed position at first still has game (compare article "barrier-free shower base elements" from wediwelt, January 2000).
Below the positions of the shower-floor element, a bed placed, from the wet and malleable mortar or cement-based building material mixture is first. Here are the outer contour of the drain body and drain cavities left accordingly. After replacing the shower-floor element is the bed made up, the drain body and the process taking up a form that is embedded. Even if the drain body laid in the shower-floor element is fitted, as the "fundo-system" of the case, often remain in the bed voids that are missing from the area in a lining.
The disadvantage is that it is hardening of the bulk and heavy use of the shower-floor element to loosening and leaks in the drain pan and drain system can come after, if still remained in the bed or cavities are formed over time.
There is also the risk that the filling of the drain pan is not properly carried out in the field, so that the drain pan, over time, thus lowering the density of the drainage system is not longer given.
It is accordingly the object, a common model of shower floor base construction elements adapted to indicate in advance the exact form, height and density may be permanent in the.
This object is achieved in a construction that is a sub-component to underpin a shower-floor element is characterized essentially in, with sub-component and shower-floor element outlet opening for installation of a drainage pot provided are graded and the foundation elements that the entire volume between the bottom of shower-floor element and the building substrate occupies a slab of foam plastic covers at least that one of the peripheral organization of at least one drainage pot adjusted opening and in accordance with the thickness of the foundation element reaching, the opening subsequent, structured lumen provided is on.
The sub-component assumes the role of the bed without finishing with stuffing or the like are done. The lumen, i.e. the inner contour of the opening, the outer contour of one or two pots of common sequence adapted to. The manufacturer of the drain pans can be adapted using the corresponding sub-components to build a shower assume that complications and complaints concerning the conduct installation are practically excluded.
Preferably, the sub-component consists of two or more stacked sheets. It is thus possible sentence of two or more, i.e. n plates, the construction site to supply one with and depending on the height of one or up to n-l disks, the top plate to give up, for example.
The sub-component is considered to cover n substantially congruent disks, each with the peripheral design of the end pots custom openings and the thickness of the foundation element reaching, divided, the opening of subsequent, structured lumen provided on exception, in the state of installation perimeters and openings the plates of the lower component and the shower-floor element coincide.
As a technically advantageous has been found that the level of a first (lower) plate 60 5 mm and the height of a second (upper) plate 30 5 mm, with a fixed total amount, egg 90 mm, however, should not be exceeded.
The heights of the plates and their number can be other embodiments of the foundation element and, depending on the height of the pots vary in sequence.
These dimensions are given as examples and each manufacturer to vary by product.
A particular advantage is that the lumen of the first panel in the installed state, the outer contour drainage pot with for example a height of about 60 mm takes up one, so that they can only serve as a foundation element. For example, if three plates of 40 + 30 + 20 mm with heights are chosen, so steps can be at heights of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 90 mm height, "use".
When foam plastic for the lower component is preferably an expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) or extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) in question. However, it should not be excluded that the number of known foamable polymers, other materials for the sheets are suitable, such as polyurethane foams.
The flat sides of the foundation element and the underside of the shower-floor element and the top of the substrate structure has a durable and long lasting connection, for example via an adhesive made between.
An extension of the applications can be achieved when separate openings and corresponding Lumina for drain pans in the foundation elements are introduced which are foundation elements of at least two that in the installed state, each with a drain hole of different shower floor elements coincide in and with the end pots compatible.
Preferably a hole is in the center and the other opening eccentrically.

Be both base plates, being upper plate 7 and lower plate 9, required then they may be glued together. It should be noted that at extremely flat shower setups, the lower plate 9 and plate 8 are used alone as a substrate element can. For this is necessary, however, accounts for the waste water down to the lead.
The thicker lower plate 9, the opening 3" bear the cross section of a so-called drum line as follows. Again, the outline and the inside of configurations corresponding to the periphery of the drain pot 4 in its lower part designed. The aforementioned openings 3' and 3" are milled or punched. Such material processing can be applied combined.
The necessary tools and processes are known.
If, as shown in Figure 1, horizontal connection of the sewage pipe 6 provided one, then the material of the lower plate 9 at the construction site, a correspondingly wide slot 14 is cut in or cut.
As Figures 5 and 6 show the plates each contain a further bore 23 'and 23".
These holes 23 ', 23", corresponding, positioned with upper plate 7 and lower plate 9 to be coincident drain body elements outside the center, are congruent with built-in, where shower water is derived and recorded with. The opening 23' has a circular cross section and a wide aperture, the truncated cone converges and a hollow cylinder goes into. The opening 23" is its total height is a hollow cylinder made of. This option is to create a different standard sanitary drain positioned in the shower area to provide in one. The lower component 8 is therefore a wide range of soil-incorporated elements used in shower.
To facilitate the craftsman on the site may also include devices set to create a tileable shower floor offered as a whole, the shower-floor element 2, a sub-component 8, consisting of the two plates upper plate 7 and lower plate 9, and a suitable drainage system.
The proposed elements, particularly the lower component can be tiled over and installed a tile of. The result is a simple and inexpensive way to quickly erect shower floor construction.
