Abstract

L'invention concerne une matrice métallique dans laquelle sont réparties des particules céramiques et un procédé de production de celle-ci. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à: introduire une vapeur de halogénure du métal formant la matrice dans un écoulement de métal alcalin, de métal alcalino-terreux ou d'un mélange de ceux-ci; introduire dans l'écoulement une vapeur des constituants de la céramique, le surplus de métal alcalin et/ou de métal alcalino-terreux étant suffisant pour maintenir la température de sensiblement tous les produits de réaction au-dessous des températures de frittage afin de produire des particules de matrice métallique, des particules céramiques et des particules de sel dans le métal alcalin et/ou le métal alcalino-terreux en excès; éliminer le métal alcalin et/ou le métal alcalino-terreux en excès ainsi que les particules de sel de manière à obtenir un mélange de particules de matrice métallique et des particules céramiques.
