Abstract

L~appareil objet de l~invention comprend des éléments allongés (2200) insérés dans les vertèbres et attachés à une tige de fixation arquée (2300) au moyen de clamps (2400) qui lorsqu~ils sont déplacés les font pivoter avec les vertèbres auxquelles ils sont fixés. Le procédé peut aussi comprendre l~introduction par une canule (2100) dans la vertèbre lésée d~un outil de rupture pour fracturer le corps vertébral lésé : une fois que l~os cortical est brisé ou rompu de toute autre manière, la hauteur du corps vertébral lésé peut être rétablie, notamment en retirant l~outil de rupture et en insérant par la canule un autre outil, un implant, un dispositif et/ou un matériau afin de rétablir la hauteur du corps vertébral et de restaurer une courbure rachidienne normale dans la zone affectée. Du matériau de greffe ou de charge peuvent être ajoutés avec ou sans l~implantation d~un dispositif pour renforcer le corps vertébral lésé.
