Abstract

Un système automatisé d'alimentation mobile est capable de stocker de l'énergie dans des sous-systèmes électriques, hydrauliques et pneumatiques pour engrener une gamme d'outils interchangeables. Le système charge trois moyens de stockage : des piles électriques pour fournir de l'énergie électrique, un accumulateur hydraulique pour fournir de l'énergie hydraulique, ainsi qu'un accumulateur d'air pour fournir de l'énergie pneumatique. Un petit moteur diesel fournit de l'énergie pour recharger chaque sous-système au besoin. Entre les cycles de réalimentation, le moteur est fermé. Une unité de commande permet l'utilisation de l'appareil dans l'un des modes automatiques, qui démarre ou arrête le moteur automatiquement en fonction des nombreux capteurs capables de déceler lorsqu'il est nécessaire d'effectuer une réalimentation, ou un mode manuel. L'appareil peut également fournir une unité de chauffage capable de réchauffer la zone de travail. L'appareil est, de préférence, monté dans une camionnette normale, une carrosserie- atelier ou un véhicule à plate-forme, ou contenu dans un boîtier compact facilitant le transport.
