Abstract

La présente invention concerne une pâte à base de fibres acryliques et para-aramides destinée à être utilisée en tant que matériau de renfort dans des produits, tels que des joints d'étanchéité et des matériaux de frottement. La pâte comprend : (a) des structures fibreuses acryliques, de forme irrégulière, (b) des structures fibreuses para-aramides, de forme irrégulière, ainsi que (c) de l'eau, des fibrilles et/ou des fils acryliques étant sensiblement enchevêtrés avec des fibrilles et/ou des fils para-aramides. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication de ladite pâte à base de fibres acryliques et aramides.
