Abstract

Un intégrateur portatif personnel est utilisé pour intégrer les services d'un dispositif audio quelconque, tel qu'un MP3, un CD, un DVD, la radio ou tout autre lecteur multimédia, aux services d'un dispositif de communication bilatérale quelconque, tel qu'un téléphone mobile, ou d'un appareil radio avec émetteur-récepteur, tel qu'un émetteur-récepteur portatif, un poste bande publique (p. ex., CB), une radio amateur, un équipement radio marine ou aéronautique et les appareils du même genre. L'intégrateur portatif reçoit et transmet des signaux d'entrée et de sortie provenant du dispositif audio et du dispositif de communication bilatérale, ce qui permet à un utilisateur d'écouter de la musique ou tout autre document sonore et de recevoir et de passer des appels téléphoniques sur un téléphone mobile, ce simultanément. L'intégrateur portatif fournit ces services en alternant entre les dispositifs audio et de communication, en mélangeant les signaux émis par ceux-ci et en permettant à l'utilisateur, en option, de réduire le volume ou de mettre en sommeil les signaux à volonté.
