Abstract
L'invention a trait à un système de perfusion médicale comprenant un ensemble de tubulures servant à distribuer un fluide, tel qu'une substance médicinale liquide, à un patient, à partir d'une source telle qu'un sac pour perfusion intraveineuse (18), par l'intermédiaire d'un composant électrique (30). Le système de perfusion (10) préféré comprend une tubulure jetable (12) comportant des première et seconde extrémités (16, 17) pouvant être fixées à au moins un premier ou un second élément médical, et un bloc d'alimentation (14), tel qu'une pile à combustible, une batterie, un bloc-piles, un papier électrique, ou une combinaison de ceux-ci, qui est fixé à la tubulure (12), le bloc d'alimentation (14) étant configuré de manière à être actionné pour fournir un courant électrique au composant électrique (30). Une telle configuration peut comprendre l'utilisation d'un élément d'actionnement, tel qu'une pompe à fluide. Le type de bloc d'alimentation (14) préféré est une pile à combustible (32) possédant une source de réactif et une barrière (54) séparant la source de réactif d'une chambre de réaction (46). La barrière (54) se présente de préférence sous la forme d'une membrane frangible, d'un opercule déchirable, ou de toute combinaison de ces derniers. Cette propriété permet à l'élément d'actionnement d'être formé solidaire de la pompe à fluide (30), de façon que l'insertion de la pile à combustible (32) dans la pompe (30) rompe la barrière (54) et actionne la pile à combustible (32) pour générer un courant.
