Abstract

La présente invention traite d'un lubrifiant pour les moteurs diesel à faible émission qui produisent peu de cendres, de soufre et de phosphore. Le lubrifiant contient environ : de 0 à 1,2 % en poids de cendres; de 0,1 à 0,5 % en poids de soufre; et de 0,02 à 0,1 % en poids de phosphore. Il peut aussi contenir un nouvel additif pour huiles lubrifiantes au carboxylate non sulfurisé qui comprend un mélange sels alcalino-terreux (phénate ou salicylate hydrocarbyle) et une petite quantité de phénols hydrocarbyles qui n'ont pas subi de réaction et dans lequel ledit salicylate d'hydrocarbyle a principalement un noyau aromatique simple. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode pour produire ledit additif ainsi que ledit lubrifiant pour les moteurs diesel à faible émission.
