Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'élimination d'amines permettant la fabrication de catalyseurs à site unique. D'abord, on fait réagir un indénoindole ou son équivalent synthétique avec un composé de métal de Groupe 4 de tétrakis(dialkylamino) pour obtenir un composé de tris(dialkylamino). Cet intermédiaire versatile peut être halogéné, alkylé, ou directement réagi avec des précurseurs de cyclopentadiényle pour fournir des complexes métalliques de Groupe 4 et d'indénoindolyle. Le procédé permet de fournir de manière sélective des complexes mono-indénoindolyle. En outre, il permet la préparation économique de dérivés Cp- ou de type Cp- et permet l'utilisation d'une source de métal de transition de Groupe 4 peu coûteuse.
