Abstract

L'invention porte sur une enclume (14) utilisée dans le soudage par friction et sur son procédé de production. Cette enclume (14) forme une barrière de diffusion ou empêche tout lien mécanique entre elle et les pièces (10A, 10B). Parmi les différentes réalisations pour produire cette enclume (14), l'une d'entre elles consiste à recouvrir totalement ou partiellement l'enclume (14) de barrières de diffusion telles que des oxydes, des nitrures, des intermétalliques et/ou des métaux réfractaires ; ou appliquer une couche (26) de ces matériaux sous forme d'une feuille mince ou d'une poudre entre l'enclume (14) et les pièces (10A, 10B). L'enclume (14) de cette invention présente une résistance et une dureté même à températures élevées telles que des températures supérieures à 800 ·C de manière à empêcher la formation d'un lien mécanique ou par diffusion entre l'enclume (14) et les pièces (10A, 10B) et à minimiser ou éliminer toute déformation de l'enclume.
