Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de reproduction sonore comprenant des haut-parleurs gauche et droit placés à proximité l'un de l'autre, et un processeur de sons fournissant des signaux audios à la paire de haut-parleurs. Le processeur sonore dérive, de préférence, un signal d'annulation à partir de la différence entre les canaux gauche et droit. Le signal de différence qui en résulte est mis à l'échelle, retardé (si nécessaire), et modifié spectralement avant de l'ajouter au canal de gauche et, dans une polarité opposée, au canal de droite. La modification spectrale du canal de différence prend la forme d'un relèvement de basse fréquence sur un domaine de fréquence déterminé de façon à restaurer l'équilibre timbral correct après réalisation du processus de différence.
