CONTEXTE DE L'INVENTION
Domaine technique de l'invention La présente invention se rapporte à un support de nom de rue sur feu de circulation.
RÉSUMÉ DE L'INVENTION
Un premier objectif est de produire un nouveau support de nom de rue sur feu de circulation.
Un deuxième objectif est d'augmenter la sécurité en cas d'impact entre une enseigne montée à un feu de circulation et un véhicule.
Un troisième objectif est de prévenir la séparation de (enseigne du feu de circulation en cas d'impact.
Selon une caractéristique générale de l'invention, une enseigne est montée au bas d'un feu de circulation au moyen d'un support fragilisé. Le support fragilisé
comprend une première extrémité conçue pour être montée au feu de circulation et une deuxième extrémité conçue pour être fixée à l'enseigne. Un affaiblissement est prévu entre les deux extrémités du support fragilisé. En cas d'impact, le support fragilisé pliera au niveau de faffaiblissement.
Le support fragilisé est préférablement fabriqué d'un matériau possédant un grand coefficient de déformation plastique. Selon une réalisation préférentielle, le support fragilisé est fabriquë en aluminium.
Selon une autre caractéristique générale de la présente invention, un câble de sécurité est prévu afin d'éviter que l'enseigne ne se détache du feu de circulation, advenant la rupture du support fragilisé.

DESCRIPTION DU MODE PRÉFÉRÉ DE RÉALISATION
La présente invention révèle un support de nom de rue sur feu de circulation.
Tel qu'illustré à la figure 1, une enseigne 10 portant le nom d'une rue ou d'un boulevard est montée sous un feu de circulation standard 12; 'au moyen d'un ensemble de supports 14. L'ensemble de supports 14 comprend deux unités de support 14a et 14b, montées aux extrémités opposées de (enseigne 10. Les unités de support 14a et 14b sont identiques. Chaque unité de support 14 comprend une bretelle semi-circulaire 16 ayant une courbure épousant la face arrière du feu de circulation 12. L'extrémité supérieure de la bretelle semi-circulaire 16 est fixée sur le dessus du feu de circulation 12 au moyen d'un support supérieur 18 et d'une vis 20. Le support supérieur 18 est un membre .en "U" conçu pour venir s'asseoir sur la nervure supérieure 22 du feu de circulation 12. L'extrémité supérieure de la bretelle 16 est reçue à (intérieur du support supérieur 18 après que ce dernier ait été
positionné sur la nervure supérieure 22. La bretelle semi-circulaire 16, de même que le support supérieur 18 ménagent des trous filetés 24 et 26 pour recevoir la vis 20.
La bretelle semi-circulaire 16 est préférablement fabriquée en aluminium.
La partie inférieure de la bretelle semi-circulaire 16 est repliée afin de former une languette d'attache 28 ménageant un trou 30. La languette d'attache 28 est reçue dans la partie supérieure d'un support fragilisé 32. La partie supérieure du support fragilisé 32 comprend une mâchoire 33 conçue pour recevoir une paire de plaques de renfort 34 placées de part et d'autre de la lèvre inférieure 36 du feu de circulation 12.
Une vis 38 est insérée dans des ouvertures 40, 42, 44 et 30 respectivement ménagées dans Ia lèvre inférieure 36, les plaques de renfort 34, la mâchoire 33 et la languette d'attache 28 de la bretelle circulaire 16. Après serrage, la vis 38 et Ie boulon 46, accompagnés de la rondelle 48, maintiennent en contact étroit la bretelle semi-circulaire 16, le support fragilisé 32, les plaques de renfort 34 et la lèvre inférieure 36 du feu de circulation 12. 2 BR ~ VE DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The present invention discloses a street name support on a traffic light.
As illustrated in Figure 1, a sign 10 bearing the name of a street or a boulevard is mounted under a standard traffic light 12; 'by means of a 14. Le support fragilisé 32 est préférablement formé d'un seul bloc et fait d'aluminium. En cas d'un impact sur l'enseigne 10, le support fragilisé pliera au niveau de la ligne de pli 60, absorbant ainsi une portion importante du choc.
Le choc induira une déformation plastique au niveau de la ligne de pli 60 et préviendra la chute de l'enseigne 10, de même que la transmission de l'impact au feu de circulation 12. Advenant la rupture du support fragilisé 32, un câble de sécurité 62 retiendra (enseigne 10 attachée au feu de circulation 12. Le câble de sécurité
comprend un oeillet supérieur 64 et un oeillet inférieur 66 respectivement engagés sur la partie filetée des vis 38 et 52. Le câble de sécurité 62 est préféràblement fabriqué
en acier.
