Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un mélangeur pour mélanger des courants dans un processus de fabrication de papier. Selon cette invention, un premier courant (V>1<) est conduit à travers un tube (1) et une turbulence est produite à l'intérieur de ce tube au moyen de parties profilées (4a à 4d) situées sur la périphérie intérieure (3) du tube. La zone de mélange du mélangeur comprend des ouvertures d'alimentation (8, 11, 30, 40) sur la périphérie intérieure du tube, lesquelles ouvertures servent à introduire dans le premier courant (V>1<) un second courant (V>2<) provenant d'un canal d'alimentation (7) situé à l'extérieur du tube (1), lesdits courants étant mélangés sous l'effet de la turbulence produite par les parties profilées. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré de cette invention, au moins une partie profilée comprend une ouverture d'alimentation (8)
