Abstract

L'invention concerne un mitigeur de baignoire à commande unique (10) comprenant une poignée, un levier couplé à la poignée, et une vanne en cartouche (12) couplée au levier. La vanne (12) est conçue pour délivrer un débit maximum d'environ au moins 7,8 GPM. La vanne en cartouche (12) comprend une base de vanne (32) et un disque inférieur (18). La base de vanne (32) comprend une surface supérieure (58) et une surface inférieure (68) et un passage d'eau qui s'étend entre ces deux surfaces. L'extrémité de sortie du passage possède une surface transversale plus importante que celle de l'extrémité d'entrée. Le disque inférieur (18) comprend une entrée dimensionnée afin de correspondre à l'extrémité de sortie du passage. La section transversale du passage est généralement courbe et elle est définie par des parois latérales parallèles (74, 75) et des parois d'extrémités non parallèles (76, 77).
