Claims (15)
1. An ergonomic support for microscope comprising a) a holding member, b) a base mounted on said holding member and means for mounting said base on said holding member, c) an inclining microscope support and means for articulately mounting said inclining microscope support at one end thereof on said base, d) means for horizontally moving said base and said inclining microscope support relative to said holding member, e) lifting means operable with said base and said inclining microscope support to articulately move said inclining microscope support along said articulating means to a selected inclined position between a flat position of said inclining microscope support adjacent said base and an uppermost position of said inclining microscope support, and f) means for vertically moving said base and said inclining microscope support relative to said holding member.
2. An ergonomic support according to claim 1, wherein both said base and said inclining support are rectangular, and said articulating means is provided at said one end and a corresponding end of said base.
3. An ergonomic support according to claim 2, wherein said articulating means comprises a hinge connecting said base and said inclining support at said one end and said corresponding end.
4. An ergonomic support according to claim 3, wherein said rectangular inclining microscope support comprises a front flange at said one end and a rear flange at a rear end thereof, both said flanges upwardly extending so as to prevent a microscope from moving away from said inclining support.
5. An ergonomic support according to claim 1, wherein said holding member comprises a top member, a resting plate mounted over said top member, and means for variably spacing said resting plate over said top member.

An ergonomic support according to claim 5, which comprises at least one slide member mounted on an upper face of said resting plate, and slide engaging wheels fixed to an underface of said base and engaged into said at least one slide member to permit a horizontal sliding movement of said base and said inclining microscope support relative to said holding member.

An ergonomic support according to claim 6, wherein said means for variably spacing said resting plate over said top member comprises a guiding plate fixedly mounted on said top member, said guiding plate being formed with a leg opening and a screw engaging threaded hole, a supporting leg slidably extending through said leg opening and said top member and fixed at an upper end thereof to an underface of said resting plate, a first endless screw extending through said screw engaging threaded hole and fixed at a lower end thereof to a screw operating device, said screw operating device operatively connected to said supporting leg to cause raising or lowering of said resting plate and consequently of said base and said inclining microscope support.
8. An ergonomic support according to claim 7, wherein said screw operating device comprises an electric motor.

An ergonomic support according to claim 8, wherein said top member is formed with a longitudinal slot, said means for variably spacing said resting plate over said top member additionally comprises a reinforcing bar fixed at an upper end to the underface of said resting plate and at a lower end thereof to said motor and said supporting leg, said reinforcing bar extending through said longitudinal slot.

An ergonomic support according to claim 9, wherein said reinforcing bar is Z-shaped and formed with a top bar, a lower bar and a connecting member, said top bar being fixed to the underface of said resting plate and said lower bar being fixed between said motor and said supporting leg, said connecting member extendably sliding through said slot as said resting plate is moved vertically.
11. An ergonomic support according to claim 1, wherein said lifting means comprises a lever means.

An ergonomic support according to claim 11, wherein said lever means comprises at least one leverage arm, said leverage arm being movably articulated at one end on said base and fixedly articulated at the other end on said inclining microscope support, to cause articulated lifting of said inclining microscope support.
13. An ergonomic support according to claim 12, wherein said at least one leverage arm is articulately fixed to said rear flange.
14. An ergonomic support according to claim 12, wherein said lever means also comprises a second endless screw, endless screw supports fixed to said base and adapted to receive said second endless scew therein and to permit free rotation of said second endless screw therein, a leverage arm carriage for each said leverage arm, said leverage arm pivotally connected at said other end on said leverage arm carriage, and means for rotating said endless screw to move said leverage arm carriage in one or an opposite direction to cause articulation of said leverage arm and lifting or lowering of said inclining microscope support.
15. An ergonomic support according to claim 12, wherein said rotating means comprises a control knob mounted at one end of said second endless screw to permit rotation thereof.
