Abstract

Procédé de préparation d'un mélange réticulé qui consiste (a) à mélanger un copolymère d'une isooléfine C¿4? à C¿7? et d'un para-alkylstyrène avec de la silice, (b) à mélanger séparément un caoutchouc polyvalent avec de la silice, un ou plusieurs agents de couplage silane étant mélangés avec le mélange silice/copolymère et/ou avec le mélange silice/caoutchouc polyvalent et (c) à mélanger le mélange silice/copolymère avec le mélange silice/caoutchouc polyvalent. Les agents de couplage silane typiques comprennent le bis(3-triéthoxysilyl) tétrasulfure, le 3-thiocyanatopropyl-triéthoxysilane, et le 3-mercaptopropyl-triméthoxysilane, et dans un mode de réalisation, le copolymère est un terpolymère d'isobutylène, de para-méthylstyrène et de bromo-para-méthylstyrène.
