Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une feuille ou de tout autre produit allongé d'alliage d'aluminium traité thermiquement en solution, sensiblement exempt de déformation thermique permanente. La feuille est soumise à un traitement thermique de mise en solution à une température de mise en solution pour dissoudre les précipités présents dans l'alliage, refroidie dans un gaz, de la température de mise en solution à une température critique supérieure en-dessous de laquelle peut avoir lieu la précipitation des particules de seconde phase de l'alliage, davantage refroidie dans un liquide, de la température supérieure à une température critique inférieure en-dessous de laquelle la précipitation des composants ne peut plus avoir lieu, et éventuellement à nouveau refroidie à une température inférieure à la température critique inférieure. Le refroidissement de la feuille dans le gaz est effectué à un taux de refroidissement auquel la limite d'élasticité de la feuille reste suffisamment élevée pour résister à une déformation permanente entraînée par une contrainte thermique générée dans la feuille lors de la trempe.
