Abstract
L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de cribler des bibliothèques génétiques dérivées d'une population mixte d'organismes afin de détecter une bioactivité d'une biomolécule d'intérêt. La population mixte d'organismes peut être une population cultivée ou une population non cultivée issue, par exemple, de l'environnement. L'invention concerne également des méthodes permettant de cribler des isolats ou des populations enrichies d'organismes, lesquels isolats comprennent une population qui est spatialement ou temporellement hiérarchisée, et qui fait partie, par exemple, d'une espèce, d'une genre, d'une famille ou d'une classe particulières d'organismes. Des clones identifiés contenant une biomolécule ou présentant une bioactivité d'intérêt peuvent être panachés ou l'ADN contenu dans ledit clone peut être panaché afin de créer de nouvelles biomolécules ou bioactivités d'intérêt.
